Christmas Home Tour 2016

 Merry Christmas!
Come on in for a little Christmas home tour!
The front porch is decorated with a DIY countdown to Christmas picket fence sign..a vintage blow mold Santa ..garland around the door.. and a Joy sign on the front door. My youngest knew I wanted one of the Star Shower lights so he went and got that to surprise us ...love the twinkling lights on the outside of the house..
The foyer is decorated with more Joy .. cotton branches and faux and real evergreen branches on the stairs with a couple different plaid ribbons and black check ribbon..
The little 4 foot tree is all decked out in plaid ribbons and ornaments..
These two are ready for their presents!
There are 4 trees in the living room. the "real" Frasier fir, the flocked tree decorated in silver and white with a few shiny brite vintage ornaments.. the Santa tree decorated with Prairie Schooler Santa's.. and the flocked tree with a book page tree topper decorated in gold..

The Christmas village also is in the living room and surrounds the Santa tree and the gold tree..

The dining room has one tree.. the ice skate tree.. lots of Fitz and Floyd  and Department 56 Santa's live in here
There is a 3 foot tree on the buffet ( that isn't counted in the 13 trees) it is decorated with little house ornaments and red stripe ticking for a garland.. pine cones and silver branches are also used in decorating it. The Seasons in Chalk hangs here on the dining room wall..
The kitchen has the big seasonal chalkboard on the wall..
Wreaths in the windows..garlands and pom pom garlands over the windows..
The chalkboard candy cane tree is the only tree in the kitchen..

The galvanized tiered tray is all decked out in Christmas decor.. some vintage .. and lots of plaid,
The cookies are all baked ..
The family room has our fireplace mantel with the stockings ..another chalkboard in a thrift store frame.. glitter houses line the top of the mantel
The scrapbook tree and the snowman tree are on either side of the fireplace..

The Americana tree is in the opposite corner..
This 4 foot tree made into a snowman with muslin is the 4th tree in the family room..
I love my Christmas vignettes in the family room.. another galvanized tiered tray is filled with little putz houses.. some new some vintage.. Department 56 Santa's a vintage scale and of course some Christmas stitching..

a vintage window ..and more sticthing and Santa's complete this vignette..
There are still 2 trees I never got around to photographing.. the owl tree on the stairs.. and the aqua and red tree in my bedroom.. hopefully I can add some photos of those 2 in when I get some decent light!

Thanks for taking the tour! Merry Christmas from my family to yours!
