This chalkboard in a vintage thrifted frame hangs in the kitchen and gets changed out for all the seasons and holidays.. Bunnies .. chicks .. carrots and radishes ,, what could be more springy!

This is my husbands job at Christmas time to get the village set up ..
We have 50 buildings and an ice rink this year .. For risers he uses boards .. plastic crates .. wood blocks ..and sometimes even boxes
this gas station is new ( but not "new") because I found it at the Goodwill ..
Lots of the buildings have been thrift store finds .. even the ice rink was found at the Goodwill
churches. houses, stores every kind of building you can think of ..
The village wraps around 2 trees in the living room ..the red truck tree and the Santa tree.. The trees are set up on the bins that the Christmas decorations came out of ..

Mickey's water tower stands over the ice rink .. it's not Christmas until the skaters are skating :)
The pets all hang out around the village .. and Calvin's favorite spot is right behind the red truck tree.. He trots through the village like Godzilla to get to it ..
There are buildings from Department 56 ..Joann Fabrics and St. Nicholas Square ( Kohls)
always in close range .. He is a village cat :)
