Christmas Cross Stitch

Good Sunday morning ! This year I tried to stitch all the remaining Prairie Schooler Santas .. I didn't finish all of them but I did get 13 of them done ! I finished all of them on a flat board , I used ribbons, buttons, ric rac, pom pom trim to finish them .

The worst part was the ironing to get all the wrinkles out ! Hopefully next year I will have them all finished ! On Instagram a bunch of us stitched Christmas on Sundays all year long and tagged our stitchery with #santasundayxs .. It was fun to see Christmas stitching all year long ! I still have 3 other Christmas ornamnets to finish that aren't Santas..

I also finished another stocking this year .. These take so long to stitch since it is total stitches with no background showing through !

They are amazing when finished ! I have another stocking started , hope it gets finished for next year !

Finally Finished ! The puffy flower blanket and Santa Stocking !

Good morning ! I finally finished sewing in the ends of my puffy flower blanket .. It is staying in the living room for now.. The aqua and turquoise colors look really pretty with the gray..

It measures 62 inches by 84 inches..here is the pattern

I also finished stitching the year and a half or more long stocking project. This stocking is made by Dimensions ( its a kit) So many color changes and getting lost and having to redo.. So glad its done.. but I think the new one I started is even worse with color changes !

I finished a couple more Prairie Schooler Santas, and started another one. Going to have to start finishing them into ornaments !
This week I had to go for Jury duty... I went on Monday and they let us out at 11:30 for the day, they didn't use any of the 130 jurors they had that day .. I didn't have to go back Tuesday , and yesterday I went but again no jurors were used and we were out by 11:30 and they said we were done for the week ! Can't beat that :)

I started this stocking for my youngest son, got some stitching time in while sitting waiting at Jury duty.
We have had a couple days of really nice weather , but now its back in the 40's ,going to be in the 50's the whole weekend. Hoping to plant our vegetable garden the first of next week if its not too wet and cold. Hoping for some nice weather :)
My college boy is on his way home from Kentucky .. this year seemed to go by so fast ..

Puffy flower blanket

Good morning :) All 130 puffy flower squares are finished and put together.. I even finished the border Friday night ! I made a ruffled border like I did on the Big flower blanket .. I did 3 rows single crochet, 1 row half double crochet , then one row of 3 dc in first stitch , 4 dc in next stitch around to form the ruffle. I love it :)

I still need to sew in all the ends.. Maybe tonight !

I loved making this pattern and the sqaures worked up so fast since there are only two colors

Ronnie had to try out the blanket and make sure it was soft enough !

In remodeling news, we have moved around the furniture again, put back the china cabinet and put all the Lilliput Lane houses back in. This view is from the stairs.

This is the view from the kitchen .. Hard to believe a few weeks ago there was a wall here with a big UGLY mirror on it !

We still need to get the drapes and a coffee table..more pictures on the walls too.

This dining room set is coming to live at my house tomorrow and I am very excited ! Can't wait to decorate that hutch !

Getting closer to the finish line with this stocking ! Just that little area to the left and the name area across the top ..Those little areas will take forever but I am getting alot closer !
