Queen Bee Bakery .. Up On A Pedestal

Good morning!

This is "Queen Bee Bakery" .. The next in the "Up On A Pedestal" series! Queen Bee Bakery will be shipping to shops the first week of June! "Queen Bee Bakery" joins "Barnyard Bakery" and "Bunny Bakery"

I used Priscilla's Pretty Plaids and Lori Holt vintage trim for finishing ..

Finished on an enamel flour tin from Hobby Lobby .. the little bee accesories were also from Hobby Lobby in the fairy garden section

Lots of Finishes!

Happy Monday!

I did some finishing for Kimberly at The Fat Quarter shop and just look at them!

First up Be My Valentine ..

I used Chelsea's Checks .. Priscillas Pretty Plaids and the finishing piece is from Hobby Lobby 1961275

Our Valentine ornaments.. Rose Delivery .. Jar of Roses.. Valentine bakery I finished these ornaments the same way as our ornament tutorial below felt roses were in the Valentine section at Hobby Lobby

February Truckin Along

I used Priscilla's Pretty Plaids .. and this piece from Hobby Lobby .. Easter section 5263512

Stitches From The Heart .. Free chart from Fat Quarter Shop .. I used Chelsea's Checks and this Pedestal .. Hobby Lobby Spring shop 54857198

I finished the Spring stitch Quarterly also .. I used this round wood piece from Hobby Lobby 1957422

I used 2 different colors of Lori Holt vintage trim .. The floral ribbon was from Hobby Lobby .. aqua ribbon Michael's Spring ribbons

Here Comes Peter Cottontail!

Good morning!

Can you stand the cuteness?!? This is "Here Comes Peter Cottontail" and he is hopping to needlework shops February 1st!

He is stitched on 28 count black evenweave with all Classic Colorworks ..

For finishing I used this piece from Hobby Lobby .. I spray painted it with chalk paint .. a couple of light coats . In used both Priscilla's Pretty Plaids and Chelsea's checks our Henry Glass Fabrics ..Lori Holt vintage trim in cloud was added around the stitching Lambs ear picks.. gingham carrots and some blue berry picks were added beneath the stitching . I added a bow of black ticking stripe ... and a little fuzzy chick in the middle .

Farmhouse Christmas Tree

Good morning!

Time for another tree! This one is in the family room and it's a Farmhouse Christmas theme ..

The topper is a metal chicken .. and she looks so cute up there!

This year I added our Holiday Hen to the tree .. and she looks adorable stuffed in the tree!

lots of enamel and galvanized "farmy" ornaments

All of the Farmhouse Christmas ornaments from Little House Needleworks are on the tree..they are finished with black buffalo plaid picks with rusty bells from Hobby Lobby

There are 2 trees .. one on each side of the hutch .. you can see more about the hutch here .. I found these trees at Walmart a couple years ago on clearance .. they are 5 foot trees .. and I think I might need to get taller trees to hold all the ornaments :)

There are black buffalo plaid rag garlands woven through the tree and also black and white buffalo plaid ribbons

Ta Da! Finish.. Finish..Finish!

Good morning!

I did some finishing fir Kimberly at Fat Quarter Shop this week and here they are! First up is Calvin and Trixie .. Which Kimberly turned into Calvin and Piggy.. The frame is a picture frame from Michael's that I took the glass out of .. I added Priscilla's Pretty Plaids in the back .. gingham ribbon on top of the frame .. 2 bows and 2 candy corns.. she changed her white pumpkins to aqua ..

October Truckin" Along .. I used a paddle ( Hobby Lobby last spring) .. I added 2 layers of pretty plaids 2 different ribbons for a bow and a velvet pumpkin.. There are also some Halloween twig picks sticking out the sides .

November Truckin' Along ..The planked piece is from Hobby Lobby .. I added the pretty plaids ..Lori Holt lace and vintage trim to the bottom .. a buffalo plaid bow .. some fall leaves and a little fall wood truck

Fright Night .. Fat Quarter shops Mystery Halloween stitchalong .. I used a piece from Hobby Lobby .. I added the pretty plaids in the orange and black and the black and white ..The little trick or treat sign was from Walmart last year . I added candy corn picks and some Halloween ball picks ..

I also finished the model they used of Fright Night .. and this one was finished on a sign from Hobby Lobby ( fall section) that had the plaid already on the sign ..Halloween picks and a bow .. and of course the pretty plaids ..

Happiness is Homemade was also a Fat Quarter shop chart .. for World Cross Stitch Day .. I finished it on a ceramic piece from Hobby Lobby .. Chelsea's Checks .. a bow and the little joy tobacco basket is from the Christmas section at Walmart

and of course here Holidays with he Housewives Gingerbread Ornaments!
