Red,White & Blue Galvanized Tiered Tray

 Good Morning!
With Memorial Day weekend it's time to get out all the Red White and Blue..

 The galvanized tiered tray in my kitchen ( from Sam's Club a couple years ago) .. got decorated with painted mason jars full of flags, red gingham, daisies, chickens and a cow creamer.. transferware in red and blue, a little stitched piece .. and some America stitched little pillows.

I always love this time of year .. the official start to summer ..

 Daisies and flags are made for each other!

On the other counter is another stitrched piece on top of a vintage scale.. Lots of thrift store items over there :)

Patriotic Galvanized Tiered Tray

 Hello ..
Hope you all had a great weekend !
I finished up the galvanized tiered tray that resides in the kitchen with its patriotic decorations.

 Flags, stars, red, white and blue flowers, daisies, blue transferware ,a little stitched piece, a small chalkboard are all included !

 Painted mason jars with red gingham fabric ties..

 This tiered tray came from Sam's club last spring ..and I so enjoy decorating it for the holidays..

 I am still on the lookout for some red transferware to add into the decorations.. Good thing church rummage sale season is upon us :)

It's Memorial Day!

 Happy Memorial Day!
I had finished stitching Old Glory from Little House Needleworks the other night ..and this is how I finished it off.

 I had found this clipboard frame at Michael's a few weeks ago ( I know another clipboard frame from Michaels:) I loved how this stitched piece looked on it. I had trouble with the blue homespun check ..it would just cooperate and line up straight.I turned it sideways and the squares are on the diagonal now. it looks much better than crooked lines.

 It is sitting inside the boxwood wreath I made from clippings from our yard..and the dried hydrangea is also from our yard.

The bowl and the urn are from the Goodwill sitting on a vintage scale . The upside down basket is also from Goodwill.

July Stitching

 Hope you all had a great holiday weekend ! I have been doing lots of yard work..and finally got around to mounting the July cottage ! I stitched these 3 pieces last year and just finished them this year ..

 I used the off white painted mason jars again .. love these white chickens ..One came from Home Goods , the other from Hobby Lobby.

 Both of these are mounted with magnets and sheet metal to be changed out every month ..

 Love how this Prairie Schooler July turned out... I got the frame at Hobby Lobby and mounted fabric to a board , then mounted the stitching to another board. ..

Allk of these pieces are in the family room. I will be sad to put them away ..I just love patriotic stitching!

There is another chicken over in this vignette too:) I got the scale at a church rummage sale ..$5.00 for it and 2 vintage flour sifters..

Red, White and Blue In the Foyer

 Good morning ! I can't beleive it's July 1st already ! Summer is just flying by ! I stitched up this little piece last night , its a Sampler Girl design ..I mounted it on needlework board , then onto a red gingham covered piece. I then glued it to the wood shape painted with chalkboard paint.

 I painted a few mason jars with homemade chalk paint ..tied them with the red gingham fabric ..and added a couple little flags.

 I have another chalkboard sitting on a wrought iron plant holder filled with faux daisies..

 Love these mason jars ! I didn't feel like looking for sandpaper in the garage so I just used a butter knife for distressing :)

Love this little patriotic display in my foyer !

Memorial Day Centerpiece

 Happy Memorial Day ! I changed the galvanized  tiered tray  from Spring to Patriotic this week..Love this tiered  tray !

I kept a lot of the daisies in it , and added some small flags..There is burlap America pillows, and burlap bows.. The stars and stripes mason jars hold daisies, a little patriotic cross stitch is showcased on the bottom tier..Its sitting on the patriotic subway art table runner I made last year ..
