Americana Sampling

Good morning!
This is Americana Sampling by Little House Needleworks . This is stitched by Chelsea and finished by me ..

I found this paddle at Hobby Lobby .. it has a saying and then the greenery ..I wanted the greenery to show so I used a gingham covered sticky board large enough to cover up the words  ..

I mounted the stitching on sticky board .. and glued it to the red gingham covered sticky board . I added Lori Holt vintage trim in 2 colors to the red gingham and also 2 gingham stars .. I love how this turned out and I think I need to stitch this for myself!

The Cutest Box of Chickens 2

Good morning! 

Remember Chelsea's cutest box of chickens ? This is Rooster and  Hens .. Little house Needleworks

I had to stitch it for myself and finish it the same way! I used Classic Colorworks floss in Barn Door, Ladybug. Rainshower . Wagon Wheel .Bamboo and Chopped chives .. Chelsea had changed up the colors and also added 2 chickens where the person was so I copied ! :) A lot of the colors are in our Spring floss pack 

The egg box I bought last year at Michael's and knew it would be perfect for her finish and luckily they are carrying them again this year ,,

I mounted my stitching on sticky board with 2 layers of batting .. and mounted blue checks on sticky board for the backing which I glued to the top of the box .. I added 3 chicks to mine with some flowers and raffia

I just love it !

The Cutest Box of Chickens

Good morning!
This is Little House Needleworks The Rooster and the Hens .. stitched by Chelsea and finished by me .. Isn't it just the cutest!

It is stitched on 28 count tea coffee dyed Monaco .. with Classic Colorworks floss in the colors .. Ladybug .. Trail Dust .. Honeycomb.. Bamboo ..Rain shower ..Stepping Stones .. Jolly Holly and Barn Door 

The egg box is from Michael's in the Easter section .. I have one that I bought last year and I just thought Chelsea's piece would look so cute mounted on the box .. 

I mounted the stitching on sticky board with a layer of batting under the stitching .. I mounted blue check fabric on sticky board and glued them together and then glued that to the top of the box ..

In the little open spots I added eggs and raffia for nests ..and a daisy with a little chick on top ..it is adorable and I can't wait to stitch and finish it myself!

Pumpkin Hollow Farms Round 2

Good morning!
This is Pumpkin Hollow Farms by Little House Needleworks .. stitched by Chelsea and finished by me ..

This is a silver tray that was spray painted black .. I mounted the stitching on sticky board .. then added two fabric covered sticky board behind it .. one ticking stripe ..one gingham .. I made a bow from Fall plaid ribbon and added a pretty velvet pumpkin and a fall pick with berries, leaves and acorns ..

Jack Frost's Tree Farm

Good morning!
This is Jack Frost's Tree Farm from Little house Needleworks ..I did not stitch all the charts and left off the tree names .. and instead stitched a big snowflake in their places.. I used all called for floss and stitched it on 28 count coffee tea dyed light grey evenweave .

I mounted it on sticky board and also mounted red and green plaid to another sticky board ..glued the pieces together and then glued them to the piece of barnwood ..I glued the galvanized check trees to the top of the barnwood with a barn ornament in between . I attached flocked greenery picks with pine cones and red berries to the top with a buffalo check bow in between and a galvanized snowflake ..

It is so pretty .. and I loved stitching it . I used all the called for floss and it is stitched on light grey 28 count .. tea /coffee dyed

It is wonderful when your vision becomes reality and even prettier than you thought it could be !

Autumn ABC’s round 2

Good morning!
This is Little House Needleworks Autumn ABC's stitched by Chelsea and finished by me ..

I mounted it on sticky board .. then mounted Fall plaid homespun onto another sticky board and glued those 2 together .. I used magnets and washers to attach to the wood piece so it can be changed out seasonally .. I stitched this in 2017  and you can read more about that here 

The topper is also attached with a magnet and washer .. I used 2 different ribbons and added 3 velvet pumpkins and fall berries .. it is very pretty!

Jolly July Week 2

Good Morning! 

Week 2 of Jolly July is finished! This is our ornament Extravaganza stitch-a-long with Kimberly from The Fat Quarter Shop !

On day 8 I started Little house Needleworks Seasons Greetings ..

Day 9 Country Cottage Needleworks Christmas Cheer with some color changes ,, You can see this one finished up here 

Day 10 Heart In Hand Holly Jolly Holiday ..I finished the stitching and hopefully it will get fully finished today ..

Day 11 With Thy Needle and Thread Merry Holly Berries

Day 14 Heart In Hand Christmas Cheer .. which is also finished and hopefully will be fully finished today

Days 12 and 13 were Prairie Schooler Santa's .. 2016 and 2018 ,, can;t wait to get back to them and finish them up! I finished 3 of my 7 starts from this week plus one finish from Last weeks starts
