The Patriotic Tree

Good morning!

The patriotic tree in the family room got some new ornaments!

This tree and the Farmhouse tree sit next to the hutch ..you can read more about the Farmhouse tree here and the hutch here

these trees were super cheap on clearance at Walmart a couple years ago .. I think they might need an upgrade to a little bigger size!

Under the tree I place this think American Flag painted board I found at a Church rummage sale a couple years ago

The star is old but I did find it at Hobby Lobby

Christmas in the Foyer

Good morning! I can't believe there's only 4 days until Christmas!

Today we are in the foyer .. There are 2 trees in the foyer .. This flocked pencil tree ( Walmart) and on the stairs a tree that I only used the top 2 sections and put it in this basket ..

The pencil tree is decorated with red/ black buffalo plaid and black/ white buffalo plaid ribbons and ornaments ..

the gingham word ornaments are from Target last year and also this year ..

Our Jolly July ornaments are on this tree .. Gingham Greetings 2

The stair tree is decorated with little putz type houses .. there are also some of the Target wood house garlands and bottle brush wreaths ..

Above the tree is a flocked wreath I added this reindeer sign( Walmart) and ribbons to ..

Wew have a railing! .. It still needs painting but I love it and couldn't wait to decorate it! I added a flocked garland and white lights ..2 of the lanterns are still there :) there also needs to be trim installed around the bottom of the stairs .. but it's getting there!

Rudolph and Mr. Claus is the star of the show on the green cabinet in the foyer ..a coffee filter wreath hangs on the mirror ..

The Rae Dunn Merry Christmas sign was a gift this year for my birthday and I love it up there ..the letterboard sign at the top of the tree is from Walmart

Farmhouse Christmas Tree

Good morning!

Time for another tree! This one is in the family room and it's a Farmhouse Christmas theme ..

The topper is a metal chicken .. and she looks so cute up there!

This year I added our Holiday Hen to the tree .. and she looks adorable stuffed in the tree!

lots of enamel and galvanized "farmy" ornaments

All of the Farmhouse Christmas ornaments from Little House Needleworks are on the tree..they are finished with black buffalo plaid picks with rusty bells from Hobby Lobby

There are 2 trees .. one on each side of the hutch .. you can see more about the hutch here .. I found these trees at Walmart a couple years ago on clearance .. they are 5 foot trees .. and I think I might need to get taller trees to hold all the ornaments :)

There are black buffalo plaid rag garlands woven through the tree and also black and white buffalo plaid ribbons

The Prairie Schooler Santa Tree

Good morning!

Here it is .. one of my favorite trees. The Prairie Schooler Santa Tree!

This tree is one of 2 trees that is incorporated into the Christmas Village .. To achieve the height the trees sit on the Rubbermaid bins the Christmas decor comes out of ..

I have all the yearly Santa's stitched except 5 .. 3 of them are started and hopefully one will get finished before Christmas ..

The only new ornament is this little guy from A Christmas Visit book #48

This year I changed up the tree topper to this enamel Santa sign I found at Walmart ..

I think it is perfect for the top of this tree!

In addition to all the stitched pieces .. there is white fur trim used as garland throughout

The little ABC Santa was a gift from a viewer ..

The bottom middle above was also stitched for me by a fellow blogger .. she wanted to have one of her stitched pieces on the tree!

The tree is a flocked prelit tree from Walmart .. and since it is flocked all the ornaments get flocked the minute they go on the tree!

and there you have the Santa tree for 2020! If you look really close you get a glimpse of the new stair railing in one of the pictures:) We have a railing!
