February Stitched Chalkboard

 Happy Monday !
Hope you all had great weekends!
I know I am late ..but I didn't finish stitching February's A Year In Chalk until this morning..

I just had a few stitches to put in it and then mounted it and used the magnet to attach it.

It's on the chest in the foyer with a cute valentine vignette..

I had to add a few of the sugar cookies :) and the daisies my daughter gave me for Valentines day ..I have been taking down all the winter decorations in the house..even though it is freezing cold and we still have snow on the ground..I am ready to start decorating for spring !

If you would like to see what I am up to everyday join me on Instagram and my Facebook page ! I do post on both almost everyday ..Links to my Facebook page , Instagram and Pinterest are in the sidebar .. Hope to see you there ! :)
Thanks so much for all your visits and sweet comments !

A Stitchy Valentine Vignette

 Happy Thursday !
I set up this Valentine vignette in the living room ..Two cross stitched monthly pieces ..a couple thrift store books with red covers..a dried hydrangea from our garden and a wooden love sign.

Last year I made this chalkboard with crocheted flowers for Valentines day decor.. My daughter wanted it for her house so it hangs in her hallway ..

I also made these crochet rose heart pillows..I still have one its on our bed..but surprisingly 2 of them have ended up at my daughters house too :)

My progress on the giant granny square blanket ..a few more rows and the border..and sewing in all the ends..

Yesterday after more snow the night before..

Today the sun is shining .. this was the sunrise this morning !
Have a wonderful weekend!
