Garden , Garden, Garden..

The progress so far on my Attic 24 summer garden square blanket..I have never" joined as you go " until this blanket.. I do like the way it looks! ..

After 3 rounds of color , I add the light tan round and then am crocheting together with off white.

I have made a little more progress on the stocking.. the part I am doing now is the tree and so many color changes.. kind of hard to concentrate on it !

Some of my zinnias are blooming... all these were planted from seed..

I weeded the vegetable garden this week..It was so full of weeds ! We finally got some decent rain so it was easy to pull out the roots..before I was just breaking them off and they were coming back twice as big ! I still have no zucchini or cucumbers.. the last two years I had tons... The pole beans( on the right) that we should have on a higher fence are finally producing beans 

We are getting alot of tomatoes.. so far 22 pounds.  I have been roasting them and putting the sauce in the freezer.

Love these little yellow finches that come and land on the sunflowers  outside my kitchen window..

The coneflowers are putting on a pretty good show.. they must love the heat !

More zinnias !

This little munchkin is 4 months now.. Could he get any cuter !!!

Summer garden granny squares

My Santa stocking has gotten a little farther.. Hope to be finished by Christmas !

Blackberries we picked yesterday.. They are now residing in the freezer..

Yellow pepper plant that has a ton of peppers on it..

Tomatoes and blackberries from yesterday.. We also picked a bunch of beans..

Our back sidewalk .The flowers are looking better ! Thats my little jack russell Ronnie..

I was going through crochet withdrawal .. started another blanket..This time summer garden granny square from attic 24 ..Last year when I saw all kinds of crocheted granny square blankets , I stumbled across the Attic 24 blog and made this pattern. I made theat blanket for my sister in law for her birthday, so I need this one for myself ! I started making the last round in white , but didn't really want that look, so I ripped it out and changed to this light brown /tan ..

Baby dress , hat and the start of a granny stripe

I needed a girl baby gift and saw a couple of adorable dresses on Petunia pills blog .. Its a free Ravelry pattern...I made it yesterday and then purchased a hat pattern from etsy to go with it. I am also going to make little mary janes with the flower on the top..waiting for the pattern to get delivered to my email.. I think the dress and hat are adorable.

I also started a new granny stripe,(attic 24) just wanted something fast to make..Love all the colors ! Thanks for stopping by, the link to the ravelry pattern and also Petunia Pills blog are below.
