I found the wood pumpkin at Walmart .. Item # is on the chart . I used Chelsea's Checks in orange and black .. I added a bow of Stitching Housewives ribbon and a polka dot ribbon . A wood cat that I painted black sits on top of the bows.
Such an easy fun finish for your Halloween displays!

Good morning! Here are the 3 new releases shipping to shops January 4th!
First up .. Be My Valentine! the sweetest house surrounded by a beautiful rose garden! you will love all the little details on this house .. I stitched it on 28 count black evenweave with all Classic Colorworks
for finishing I used a little chalkboard from the craft section at Walmart .. Priscilla's Pretty Plaids and Lori Holt vintage trim

Next .. the 10th in the Truckin' Along series ..March .. this was our exclusive for the Lela Mae retreat in March and the start of the Truckin' Along series
stitched on black 28 count evenweave with all Classic Colorworks floss
an aqua truck filled with a gaggle of chicks .. surrounded by a garland of spring tulips
and last .. Bee Mine .. this one is finished on an enamel sign also from the craft section at Walmart .. Chelsea's checks in the red/ white and Lori Holt vintage trim were used along with sticky board
I stitched it on 28 count evenweave that I dyed with evening blue Rit dye , and then coffee tea dyed . Bees.. chickens ..roses and a bee hive are all included in this fun Valentine design!

I was so excited this year to decorate the hutch for Christmas that I found on Craig's List last winter . After Christmas last year I had found a bunch of Rae Dunn bowls and cannisters on clearance so I couldn't wait to get them out and fill up this hutch! You can see more about the tiered trayhere
Lots of nods towards gingerbread in my kitchen this year .. The gingerbread sign was from Hobby Lobby last year
a couple of our cross stitch pieces are on display in the hutch .. Santa's Helper
I love the Rae Dunn gingerbread birdhouse! There is a strand of battery operated twinkle lights woven through all 3 shelves
next to the hutch is a mug rack I found at Michael's on clearance .. pom pom garland ( Walmart) Merry sign (hobby Lobby)
The Mrs. Claus Bake shop enamel sign I found online .. and that was the start of the decorating! Also on top of the hutch are 2 red plaid wood trees from Hobby Lobby and Department 56 Santa's . There are also flocked greenery garland, cotton branch garland and a black buffalo check rag garland . And I almost forgot a strand of white lights!
This area is my favorite in the house this year! I love all the red .. with the Rae Dunn and all the vintage pieces! I can't wait to show you the gingerbread tree that is next to the hutch!
I am so happy I found this hutch .. I think I looked for 2 years for one without doors! It is just perfect!

Mrs. Claus looks so cute with her Mr. Claus!She is of course in the kitchen baking cookies.. she has her rolling pin and bowls full of gingerbread ..
She was stitched on 28 count black evenweave with all Classic Colorworks .. I finished her with our Priscilla's Pretty Plaids fabrics .. another Merry tag from Walmart with a little gingerbread glued on the tag ..

The Fall mantel is all set with the pretty colors of Fall!
The centerpiece on the mantel is the chalkboard .. highlighting 2 of my favorites.. the leaves turning and of course pumpkins! There are 2 grapevine wreaths with sweater pumpkins and real gourds .. The 2 house lanterns were from Walmart last year ..
Calvin and Clyde hang on a piece of vintage fence from a flea market .. the pumpkin patch pillow is from Walmart.. the welcome sign is also from Walmart .. A basket of Annabelle hydrangeas sits on the hearth
I layered 3 garlands.. greenery on the bottom .. fall leaves on top of that and a few cotton branches ..and finally a garland of felt Fall leaves and acorns dangling off the edge .. I love those leaves ! Underneath the garlands are twinkle lights ..
