Baby flower crochet

Happy Sunday! 

Here are the details for the baby flower crochet blanket ..

 I used I Love This Yarn from Hobby Lobby .. 

3 graymist

2 white 

and the pink was scrap yarn I had . 

I did 6 flower squares across and 7 flower squares down 

I used a G hook and I crochet loosely. This is the pattern here 

This is the join as you go method I use here .

The edging is a row of single crochet in grey and one in white . 

Chain1 **skip a stitch and slip stitch in next stitch .. skip a stitch and do 5 double crochets in next stitch . skip a stitch then slip stitch the next .. skip a stitch then 5 double crochets all the way around ( repeat from **)

A Chicken Blanket

 Good morning! I have been crocheting this blanket for Chelsea's baby for months! It was time to finish it since we had a 4th of July surprise yesterday! I used this Pattern for the blanket

 I got up this morning and finished the border and crocheted a chicken ..

 I used I Love This Yarn from Hobby Lobby .. I just made circles for the chicken body and head.. ....crocheted eyes right onto the head .. also the beak and feet were crocheted right on.. I blanket stitched the whole chicken to the blanket and added a couple rows of single crochet for the border..

and here he is .. litlle Cash Andrew.. 8 pounds 7 ounces..born on the 4th of July  Mom and baby are great!

Baby Bear Blanket

 Happy Saturday! I crocheted this big granny square baby blanket this week and then crocheted the bear applique for it last night .. Isn't it the cutest !

 For the blanket I used 2 skeins each white and light blue I lOve This Yarn from Hobby Lobby .. I made a big granny square using 4 rounds of each color .. making sure to turn the balnket each round ..If you don't turn it it gets lopsided.

 I found the bear applique on Etsy from NellasCottage .. it was easy and turned out very cute.. I did not use buttons for the eyes I just crocheted a little ball shape right onto the head ..This was very quick to make ..another blanket for the grandson to be ..

A Baby Bee Blanket..

 Happy Monday!
The first crocheted  baby blanket for the new grandchild to be is finished! I got this pattern from Pinterest for the blanket .. It is done in shell stitch..

 and then crocheted the little bee.. I did not use a pattern for the bee , I just took yarn and a hook and made him ....I think it turned out so cute! I used the I Love This Yarn from Hobby Lobby ..It took 3 skeins of the off white to make the blanket ..

 I blanket stitched it on the blanket with black . I left the wings and the antennas loose ... for more texture..

Baby Crochet and a Baby !!

I have been crocheting a little bit for the new grandson ! I made this elephant blanket in pale grey and white stripes ..I couldn't find an elephant aplique that I liked so I came up with this on my own .. Then I used white yarn and did a blanket stitch around it..Wish I would have written down what I did !( The blanket pattern is from Poochie baby on Etsy ..Its the owl blanket pattern..)

 I made this stocking cap to go with the red and  white stripe cocoon .. and here is the precious new grandson ...He was born on June 13..These photos were taken at 6 days old.. My daughter and I did his photo shoot..I think we did pretty good for amateurs !

 This blanket I made for the last grandson..Its the Moogly blackberry salad blanket

 The sock monkey set was also made for the last grandson .. I made the diaper cover and came up with my own design for the tail.. The little fuzzy aviator hat and blanket set was also made for the last grandson ..

The whole cute family :) My oldest son, daughter in law and the 3 boys !

Grey and Yellow Baby Girl Owl Set

Crochet..Baby Boy Owl Blanket and Hat

Patriotic Baby Crochet

 Since we are expecting another Grandson at the end of June, its time for me to get busy crocheting some cute things for the new little guy!  I made this patriotic blanket , cocoon and hat ..

 I used this pattern for the cocoon, except when it started the fancy stitch I just stuck to plain half double crochet .. I did 5 rows of each color to make the stripes. I made the stars from Attic 24's pattern ..for the blanket star I used a H hook ,for the hat I used a F hook .

 I used all Hobby Lobby I love this yarn for the set..I used this pattern for the blanket ..

Football Blanket and Hat

 It's Monday ! Hope you all had wonderful weekends!
My latest project is this football blanket and hat for a baby gift .. I think it turned out so cute !

 I found a pattern online for the football applique on the blanket  here it is ..

 For the hat I combined a couple patterns , I really like how it turned out. I will be writing down the hat pattern and posting it later this week.

 We taught the little grandson how to smell the flowers yesterday .. He is just too cute !

 I have some sunflowers growing by the birdfeeder and they are just gorgeous right now !

 

 

 

I have been picking Zucchini and tomatoes everyday , also red raspberries ..This guy eats as many raspberries as he can get his hands on ! He loves them..

Love the sunflowers , I think next year I need to plant some myself !
The blackberries are starting to ripen ..Lots of garden work to do this week , it is supposed to start being cooler tomorrow !
