Sunflower Farm Chalkboard

Happy Monday!

I finally got around to redoing the chalkboard on the mantel.. 

I kept the truck but removed all the patriotic bunting and flowers and replaced it all with sunflowers and bees. I added some sunflowers to the mantel and a basket of cut from the garden hydrangeas on the hearth..I am all set until I start to decorate for Fall in a couple weeks!

The Bees Are Buzzing!

Good morning!
I decided it was time to take down all the patriotic decor today , so that is starting with a new chalkboard in the kitchen..

Sunflowers ..chickens and bees ..I don't have any chickens in my garden but I do have the sunflowers and bees! Lots of bees .. Thanks so much for stopping by..have a great day!

Summer "Home" Chalkboard

Good morning! 

Today was the day to erase the patriotic chalkboard ..Loved this one ..but I also love this new one!

 You can see that my Summer Seasons in chalk is back up .. and look at the cute Home Sweet Home pillow I found at Homegoods yesterday on clearance for $10.00 ...grey and yellow ..perfect!

If you read my blog you know my love for growing flowers ..so this would be the perfect house for me! :)

 The chalkboard is a garage sale find.. with a board cut to fit painted with chalkboard paint.. It hangs in the entrance to my kitchen from the family room and gets changed out seasonally..

Let The Sun Shine Chalkboard

 Good Morning and a Happy Monday to you!
My seasonal chalkboard is now sporting a new look !

This was the patriotic design that was up for about a month and a half.. hated to erase it!

This time of summer is all about sunflowers to me ..so sunflowers and a picket fence are perfect!

 A couple bees and a little vine trailing around the fence ..and a pretty sun to shine on the sunflowers..

 This photo was taken in my sunflower patch by my daughter.. she grabbed my phone to take it .. isn't it gorgeous!

More and more sunflowers are opening every day .. I love all the colored ones.

2014 in Chalkboards

 Good Morning !
 I thought I would share all the seasonal chalkboards that went on my big thrifted frame turned chalkboard in the kitchen ! January and February  Baby it's cold outside !

 In March Spring Has Sprung !

 For Easter Peter Cottontail chalkboard

 In April and May ..April showers bring May flowers

 She's a Grand old flag was on the chalkboard in June and July

The Lazy days of summer ..in July 

 The August sunflower chalkboard

 The Pumpkin picking chalkboard in September

 Trick or Treat in October

 It's beginning to look alot like Christmas in November..

and in December Santa Claus is coming to town !

August Sunflower Chalkboard

So....I already had my August chalkboard finished .. then I saw a design on Facebook using colored chalk for the sunflowers, and I had to give it a try !

Love..love..love it !

 I got this frame at a yard sale last summer and have used it since last fall for a seasonal design..In a couple weeks it will be time for Fall !

 Until then this is going to be hanging in my kitchen !
