This is Bucket Brigade Easter.. this is a fun quick stitch for your spring decorating! We showed it in our latest flosstube video with the item # for the piece it is mounted on 

For finishing I used Chelsea's Checks in both the new mustard color and the new aqua ,,

Buffalo Plaid Spring .. Punch Needle and Primitive Stitcher magazine

Happy Saturday! 

I am so excited to share our latest piece for the Punch Needle and Primitive Stitcher magazine  

"Buffalo Plaid Spring" I love this so much and hope you do too!

The finishing piece is from Hobby Lobby .. Fabrics are Priscilla's Pretty Plaids and Chelsea's Checks .. it was stitched on 28 count black evenweave with all Classic Colorworks... I used magnets and washers to attach the piece to the frame so I can change it out with the rest of the seasons! I also used a magnet on the wood bunny at the top ..I untied the wood beads on the frame and moved them up to the top and hot glued the rope they are strung on to the top .

We Are Cover Girls Again!

Happy Saturday friends! Woohoo! We are cover girls!

We are so excited and honored to be on the cover again for the Punch Needle and Primitive Stitcher magazine ! 

This is Winter Berries .. Sheep.. chickens .. snowmen .. and the cutest weathervane on top of the prettiest barn are all included on this piece! It is stitched on 28 count black evenweave with all Classic Colorworks ..

 For finishing .. I used sticky board for the stitching and the fabric ( Priscilla's Pretty Plaids) ..I used the same barnwood frame I have used for all the rest of the pieces in this series and change them out with the use of washers and magnets . I added a simple flannel bow with a burlap snowflake and lots of greenery behind the bow .. This will be the perfect piece to display all Winter !

Fall Sunflowers ..

 Happy Saturday!
This is Fall Sunflowers ..our 3rd installment in our 4 part series in Punch Needle and Primitive Stitcher magazine! The magazine will be available the first week of September ..

 Our design features a barn .. fall corn ..sunflowers and cute pigs and chickens! I finished it on the same barnwood frame .. I added brown gingham to sticky board and added some Lori Holt lace trim to the sides .. 2 different bows and a sunflower finish it off.. I used magnets and washers to be able to switch out each season .

Summer Daisies

Happy Tuesday!
This is Summer Daisies our design for the Summer issue of Punch Needle and Primitive Stitcher magazine from Chelsea and I !

Cows... chickens and Red, White and blue make a perfect design to stitch for summer ! Did you notice the cow weather vane :)

To finish Summer Daisies I mounted the stitching on sticky board with a layer of batting underneath .. I also mounted fabric to 2 sticky boards .. one blue polka dot and the other red buffalo checks . I added red gingham ribbon to the sides of the stitching and then glued all 3 pieces together . Washers were attached to the back to adhere to the magnets I put on the frame for Spring Tulips . I made the bow from 2 ribbons and added a daisy to the  center .

Cows... chickens and Red, White and blue make a perfect design to stitch for summer !

Summer Daisies is the same size as Spring Tulips so you can easily change them out for display!

Spring Tulips 2

Good morning!
This is Spring Tulips from the Spring Punch Needle and Primitive Stitcher magazine .. This one is stitched by Kimberly at Fat Quarter shop and finished by me :)

this was my finish of the Spring Tulips

With all that is going on .. no stores open I had to shop my basement for this finish .. This is a photo  frame 8 x 10 size .. I used an 8 x 10 sticky board for the back ..covered in chicken wire fabric that I just stuck in the back like you would a photo . I then mounted red check gingham on sticky board and centered that in the frame and glued down . I  mounted the stitching on sticky board with a layer of batting and glued that on top of the gingham piece . Both of these fabrics are in our finishing bundles available at The Fat Quarter shop .. A bow of tan check ribbon and a covered button of the gingham

We Are Cover Girls!

Good morning! 

I cannot even tell you how excited I was to see this this morning! This is the Spring edition of Punch Needle and Primitive Stitcher magazine .. and that is our ( Chelsea and my) design on the COVER!

After I stopped crying .. :) what a dream come true! 

I knew I had to post this for you all to see! So here is our design Spring Tulips .. there will be a design in all 4 of the issues this year from us .. and this is the first . 

We have been keeping this finished piece a secret since December and am so glad we can let the cat out of the bag! To get a subscription you can visit the Punch needle and Primitive Stitcher magazine website here .. stitching shops also sell the magazines .. and Barnes and Noble sells them .. The Fat Quarter Shop will have them along with all the floss needed for the design!
