Christmas Cookies 2020

Good morning!

Yesterday was Christmas cookie baking day !

We didn't bake as many as we usually do.. but there is still a lot! 

We had an official cookie taster .. and he worked hard!

I use the Mrs. Fields sugar cookie recipe and also her gingerbread cookie recipe   

 

I don't add the raisins or use that icing recipe ..

For the frosting I use Wilton merengue powder .. and use the recipe that comes on the container ..

His job was so hard .. but he worked all day ! :)

The jars are my favorites .. small cookies glued on with the royal icing

ugly sweaters and wreaths ,

In addition to these we made snowball cookies  and Rolo pretzel turtles

They are all packed up in containers ... but the kitchen still smells so good !

Valentine cookies 2020

Happy day before Valentines Day!
The Valentine cookies are baked!

I love the mason jars.. I kept it simple this year with only 2 colors.. red and white

this is 2 double batches of Mrs Field's sugar cookie recipe

Christmas Cookies 2019

The cookies are baked ! 

 I had some great helpers this year ..

we made 3 batches of sugar cookies .. 1 batch of chocolate sugar cookies and one batch of gingerbread cookies ..I use Wilton Meringue powder for the royal icing ..
Plus chocolate covered pretzels .. Rollo pretzels.. puppy chow.. and turtle cookies

Red .. White and Blue Cookies

Happy Wednesday! 

The cookies are all finished! 

This is 3 double batches of Mrs. Fields sugar cookies  and royal icing made with Wilton Meringue powder

There are flags made with a star cookie cutter .. heart cookie cutter and flag cookie cutter ... chickens and cows .. stars and stripes ugly sweaters.. bunting and houses..

There is a special shirt with Cash's name and a #1 for his first birthday tomorrow ..

the little stars are separate cut out cookies that are glued on top with royal icing

Halloween cookies 2017

 Happy Saturday friends!
Yesterday was Halloween cookie baking day!

Lots of double decker cookies...

 witches, pumpkins and ghosts..

 and only 1 Haunted House.. don't know how I only cut one?!?

 love the witches..

 I use Mrs. Fields sugar cookie recipe and make 2 double batches for this amount of cookies.. I use Wilton Meringue powder and their recipe for Royal Icing..
