Bless Our Home Wreath

Good morning!
This blue truck filled with daisies was the reason for starting the #pcblessourhome stitch a long from our You Tube channel .. I saw this truck online and knew I had to have it and stitch something to go with it!

No ...Calvin isn't friendlier ..he just knows if he hangs around me I give him kitty treats :)

We used Classic Colorworks Eves Leaves for all the green .. barn door for all the red .. stepping stones roof and tree.. old blue jeans for house and flag and words

This truck came from Big Lots .. I think I had been there one time in my life until I had to go and get Chelsea and I these trucks .. then we searched for a chart with daisies and Country Cottage Needleworks had this cute Bless Our Home Chart .. I added some yellow to my flowers and it's amazing!

Of course the dog got stitched in Ronnie colors..I wired the truck to the wreath .. mounted the stitching on sticky board and mounted red gingham on sticky board ..made 2 bows with red, yellow and blue gingham ..and added some sprigs of daisies.. It will be perfect for summer to hang on the basement door in my kitchen!

It is adorable and only took a week to stitch up!

Chickens in a Truck on the Mantel

Good morning! I changed up the mantel this morning .. It was time to get rid of the bunnies and carrots..so chickens have taken over ...along with a cat ..that thinks he should be in all the pictures .

And we all know that that's Ronnie's job :) he even has the head tilt going .. Must be studying Ronnie's pictures ..

anyway ..I loaded up the truck with a bunch of Chelsea's chickens ...wrapped it in a daisy garland ..and a new chalkboard is up!

I added some black floral ribbon to the lanterns...some black gingham ribbon to the chicken wire, daisies and pink blossoms garlands..blue mason jars , a basket of eggs and some vintage chickens were also added ..

a little chalkboard hanging from the vintage fence piece .. and thanks so much for stopping by!

My Love For Tiered Trays !

Good morning !
Can I tell you how much I love tiered trays for decorating !!
I saw a post on Instagram about this tiered tray from Sam's Club ..It is oval shaped instead of last years Sam's club round tray.. I hadn't seen it at our Sam's ..so I went online and got it.. Their shipping is so reasonable at $2.95!

You can see a whole year of the decorating of the round tray here..A year of the galvanized tiered tray ..

I filled it with that red Goodwill transferware, chalk painted mason jars , vintage chickens , aqua dishes and lots of daisies for spring !

It sits in the family room on the chalk painted buffet.. This was the first piece we used chalk paint on and loved it!

The little cow creamer is vintage and from the thrift store in our little town..

That little rooster on the bottom tier is a pie bird that my husband brought home from one of his travels.. isn't it cute ? The Lizzie Kate 4 seasons spring on the aqua clipboard ( Michael's)and a With Thy Needle and Thread design in a thrifted frame.

April's Stitchy Chalkboard

Happy Friday !

I finished stitching April's A Year In Chalk from Hands On Design..

I finished it the same way as the last 3 months and used sheet metal on the back of the stitching to attach to the magnet on the gingham check fabric.. The frame is from Michael's..

This is displayed in the foyer on a green chest.. I added some faux daisies and a painted mason jar to the galvanized bucket of tulips and the vintage scale..

Can I tell you again how much I love using chalkboards to decorate .. the regular kind and the stitchy kind :)

Have a wonderful weekend !

Everything's Coming Up Daisies !

Good Morning ! I hope all you Mom's had a wonderful Mother's Day !
I saw this galvanized tiered tray on Instagram ..It came from Sam's club for $24.00..I have wanted the pottery barn version which is so much more expensive for a while so we ran to our Sam's club to see if they had them ..

I filled mine with daisies , mason jars, cups and saucers with birds nest , a little chicken pitcher , birds and greenery ..

I have so many ideas of how to fill it for the coming seasons !

I also added some daisies to the vintage scale vignette on my kitchen counter..A yellow check tea towel and a hydrangea in a mason jar..

Love all the daisies with the yellow in the kitchen !

Hope you all have a wonderful week ! Thanks so much for stopping by ! I would love for you to follow me on Instagram, Facebook and Pinterest , Etsy..all the links are in the sidebar !
