Chalkboarding Through 2016

Happy Thursday!

Today lets take a tour of the chalkboards of 2016!

The winter chalkboard is this cute snowman ..

 Valentines day was a flower filled heart with bees

 Spring is a Mason Jar full of tulips..

Peter Cottontailwas our Easter decor..

 The patriotic summer holidays were all red, white and blue..

Late summer is a house surrounded by sunflowers..

September was all about picking pumpkins!

Fall on the mantel included a pumpkin chalkboard..

Those pumpkin picking pumpkins got turned into Jack O Lanterns for Halloween!

Halloween on the mantel was a knockoff of the Halloween Seasons in Chalk!

Christmas on the mantel ..

and the Christmas chalkboard..

 and I am including all the Seasons in Chalk ..since chalkboards were all drawn for them!

It's time to Trick or Treat Chalkboard

Trick or treat!

What do you do when you still L-O-V-E your pumpkin picking day chalkboard? 

well of course you "carve" those pumpkins!

So I did carve the pumpkins ...erased the leaves on the pumpkin garland and added candy corn 

The chalkboard is made with a thrifted frame.. a board cut to fit the inside and then painted with chalkboard paint.. It changes with the seasons and holidays..

It hangs in between our family room and kitchen and is one of my favorite seasonal decorations!

It's Pumpkin Picking Day!

 Good morning!
In honor of pumpkin picking day there is a new chalkboard in the house.. except for the fact that it is raining so pumpkin picking might not happen today ( insert very sad face) and maybe some crying ! :)

 My seasonal chalkboard hangs in the entrance to the kitchen from the family room and gets changed out for the seasons.. Its a garage sale frame with a board cut to fit and painted with chalkboard paint..

 I had to include all my favorite colors of pumpkins.. orange ( of course) white..blue..and peachy pink!

A garland of mini pumpkins surrounds the top of the chalkboard.. Love this one!

Late Summer Galvanized Tiered Tray

Good morning! 

I have had the galvanized tray decorated for a while and just keep forgetting to get a post written!

I love to use sunflowers to decorate it this time of year ...

Fits right in with the seasonal chalkboard!

 Lots of vintage and new chickens, painted mason jars.. cows and of course sunflowers deck out the tray..

 These black and white chickens are vintage and came from my mother in law..

This yellow chicken is also vintage and my daughter got it for me .. He sits in the top of the tray..

Summer "Home" Chalkboard

Good morning! 

Today was the day to erase the patriotic chalkboard ..Loved this one ..but I also love this new one!

 You can see that my Summer Seasons in chalk is back up .. and look at the cute Home Sweet Home pillow I found at Homegoods yesterday on clearance for $10.00 ...grey and yellow ..perfect!

If you read my blog you know my love for growing flowers ..so this would be the perfect house for me! :)

America The Beautiful Chalkboard

 Hello everyone!
The chalkboard has been red, white and blued!

 I went with the same theme as the cross stitch Seasons in Chalk piece for my patriotic chalkboard this year!

 I always love this time of year with all the red, white and blue decor.. but if I am being honest I like any time of the year that I get to decorate for :)

 The chalkboard is made from a garage sale frame , a board cut from Home Depot and painted with chalkboard paint.. It gets changed out for every season ! Love my chalkboards!

Farmhouse Daisy Galvanized Tiered Tray

 Happy Sunday Friends!
It was time for the tulips and bunnies in the galvanized tiered tray in the kitchen to be replaced with more chickens, cows and daisies!

 Aren't daisies just the happiest little flower? Even these fake ones are so bright and cheery ..

 Stacked cups and saucers filled with all things farmhouse and spring!

There's a little bit of summer hanging on the dining room wall :)

 Daffodils from the garden ..and a vintage scale vignette are on the other counter..

 Cows and daisies have replaced the bunnies and tulips on the table..

Love these little chickens! They stay in the tray all through spring and summer..

 Black and white cows and black gingham mix perfectly with the chalk painted mason jars filled with daisies..

 There are still some tulips in the house on the chalkboard!
