The Galvanized Tiered Tray 2016

Good morning!

Let's take a stroll down galvanized tiered tray lane :) 

Last winter the tray was filled with snowmen and trees,,snowflakes and greenery..

 In the spring ..eggs, chickens and tulips filled the tray ..

 Late spring brought daisies and black gingham ... birds and chickens

From Memorial Day through July ..lots of flags and red, white and blue ..

 Late summer brings out the sunflowers...

 The Fall tray was filled with big sunflowers.. pumpkins, faux cotton and fall berries..

Cute fox and owl salt and pepper shakers too!

Halloween brings out the crows..jack o lanterns and owls..

Christmas this year had lots of buffalo check plaid.. Santa's .. pine cones..bottle brush trees and flocked greenery..and yes all my Christmas decorations are still up.. I start  taking down usually on New Years day ...

Christmas Vignettes in the Family Room

Happy Wednesday!

Today it's all about the Christmas vignettes in the family room...

On the aqua cabinet sits the oval galvanized tiered tray.. Its filled with putz houses ( vintage and new)  mason jars, and bottle brush trees..

\There is a thrift store basket filled with Dept. 56 Santa's ...glittery deer ..a vintage scale and of course stitching!

The sofa table has a vintage window with a pom pom garland...more dept 56 Santa's ..another vintage scale...deer from BHG at Walmart ..and stitching..

Country Cottage Needleworks Silent Night framed in a thrift store frame with a thrift store sweater for the background..

and Lizzie Kate's Christmas ABC and more glittery deer..

on the desk are the Country Cottage Nedleworks December cottage and With THy Needle and Thread December wordplay .. bottle brush trees in painted Mason Jars
are also o display..

I hung this vintage frame and gave it a chalkboard center.. no drawing..I just wanted a smudged chalk background. ..I made the grapevine wreath with flocked and berry picks from Hobby Lobby ..added some cotton branches and a galvanized JOY ornament from Michael's ...

The Christmas Gavanized Tiered Tray 2016

 Good morning!
The galvanized tiered tray is all decorated for Christmas!

This is one of my favorite pieces to decorate for the seasons! This year there are buffalo check bows, cotton branches ..and lots of greenery

the cute little deer salt and pepper shakers from BHG at Walmart.. I found the buffalo check bows at the Goodwill last year after Christmas .. they are perfect !

 a red and white stripe bottle brush tree and a vintage looking Santa ornament are in the top tier .. both were birthday gifts this year..

 a little chalkboard , cotton branches, and Santa salt and pepper shakers in the bottom tier,,,

 Vintage cookie cutters from my childhood also peek out of the chalk painted mason jars..

 A vintage Santa cup holds greenery and some cotton with a buffalo check bow .. There you have it .. the Christmas galvanized tiered tray for 2016.. filled with lots of Christmas goodies!

Christmas Home Tour 2015

 Good morning!
Only 3 days left!
Come on in and take my Christmas home tour for 2015

 There is alot of JOY on the front porch ...

In the foyer there are 2 trees The Merrry and Bright Tree 

and the Owl tree..

 This cute little feather tree sits in the corner by the door..

 In the living room there are 4 trees..

The only real tree.. is a frasier fir..

The Christmas village wraps around 2 trees in the living room..

On one side of the Christmas village is the Silver and Gold tree.. on the other is the Santa tree..

 There is also this flocked tree filled with silver ornaments and chalkboard ribbons..

 The dining room has lots of Fitz and Floyd.. The ice skate tree sits in the corner of this room

 The kitchen is decorated with red and white ..and chalkboard :)

 I love our hutch filled with Santa's and transferware !

 Lots of cookies were baked!

 The Candy cane and chalkboards tree is the only tree in the kitchen..

The galvanized tiered tray is all decorated with everything Christmas..

The seasonal chalkboard welcomes you into the kitchen..

Another big DIY chalkboard sits in the center of the mantel..

 The Patriotic tree is one of the 4 trees in the family room..

another galvanized tray holds vintage putz houses.. Santa's ..mason jars..and stitching are all in this vignette on the vintage buffet..

 another snowman tree made from muslin and a 4 foot tree lives in the family room..

 along with the two trees on either side of the fireplace.. the scrapbook tree and another snowman tree..
