Here Comes Santa Claus!

Happy Sunday friends!

Here Comes Santa Claus! The chalkboard in the kitchen is all ready for Christmas! 

Piper and Ronnie are so excited for Christmas! 

Santa Claus is coming to town with reindeer pulling his sleigh and a bunch of gingerbread cookies dragging behind!

Santa's  vintage truck is carrying a load of candy canes with gingerbread decorating the truck!

This chalkboard is a staple on the kitchen wall ... getting changed out for all the holidays and seasons!

 I love my kitchen decorated for Christmas .. it is just a happy place!

Merry and Bright Mantel

Good morning! 

The mantel is all decorated for Christmas ! 

Santa is all dressed in his buffalo plaid outfit with his reindeer and chickens ..

all dogs no cat :)

all the stocking are hung .. all cross stitched except for one crewel embroidery ..The galvanized house lanterns ate from Walmart .. red and white houses from Michael's

I made pom pom garlands and added a buffalo plaid ribbon

I used flocked artificial greenery and real greenery from our Fraser fir .. white twinkle lights surround the chalkboard and the garlands .. I also added vintage shutters from a flea market with little wreaths hanging on them ..

Ronnie loves the mantel

Calvin has decided to join the party .. I made both of the quilts on the chair and ottoman and you can read more about the string quilt here and the rag quilt here

Good morning!
Here Comes Santa in his buffalo plaid sleigh!

and of course Calvin doesn't like it because it is not Halloween ..

This thrifted chalkboard hangs in my kitchen and gets changed out for all the seasons and holidays! Santa .. his reindeer ..chickens and poinsettias lining the sidewalk .. and of course a little truck with a chicken decorating the tree ..

The Claus Jar

Good morning!
The Mason Jar is full of Santa ..Mrs. Claus and the reindeer!

The stitched piece is Country Cottage Needleworks Silent Night 

Candy canes and greenery also fill the jar ..

The chalkboard is in a vintage frame and gets changed out for the seasons and Holidays ...

The oval tiered tray is filled with putz type houses.. some vintage ..some new I strung Christmas lights through all the tiers and up through the bottom of the houses to light them up ..It is beautiful and one of my favorite spots in the house ..

The little reindeer sign on top came from Hobby Lobby ..

Home For Christmas Mantel

 Good morning!
Calvin is inviting you to see the mantel all decorated for Christmas!

 The centerpiece of the mantel is this chalkboard .. Santa's ice skates, houses and ornaments snuggled in pine branches border the chalkboard ..

glitter houses ...huge vintage mason jars.. a vintage scale and urn are all on display ..twinkle lights make it so special at night !

 pom pom garland, flocked greenery and cotton branches form the garland and the middle of the mantel is full of real Fraser fir greenery .. it smells so good!

 the stockings are hung .. 6 are cross stitched one is crewel embroidery all stitched by me ..

when we built the mantel ...eye hooks were added to each side to be able to tie up the stockings .. this year I used twine instead of ribbon ..

Up On The Housetop

 Happy Thursday friends! Ronnie is getting excited for Christmas!
The chalkboard that hangs on the kitchen wall is finally drawn! 

The reindeer were busy this year so the chickens came to the rescue!

 Santa and his chickens .. landing on a house with wreaths in all the windows!

Down below the chickens are draping  the vintage truck with garland ..

This is a vintage frame I had a piece of wood cut to fit and then painted with chalkboard paint .. it gets changed out for every season and holiday!

A Jar Full of Merry!

 Good morning!
What's better than a jar full of merry ?

 The frame is a vintage one from a flea market that I had a board cut to fit ..

 It hangs above my vintage buffet in the family room .. The top of the buffet has an oval tiered tray that is mostly filled with little putz type houses.. some new some vintage ..

 The stitched piece is from Country Cottage Needleworks .. and the little piece on the  pedestal is a Lizzie Kate ..
