Pumpkin Hollow Wreath

Good morning friends! Is this just not the prettiest wreath ever ?!?

This is Pumpkin Hollow Farms from Little House Needleworks with a few color changes and I left off the bottom portion of flowers. I found this wreath at the Good Will last year ($2.00)and it has just been waiting for the perfect design to show it off! I mounted the stitching on sticky board and then used a board and sticky boards cut in pieces to make a circle for the back of the wreath which I covered in buffalo check fabric ..I made a bow from black buffalo check and orange buffalo check,,

The Classic Colorworks floss colors I used ..House and flowers in Old money ..Pumpkins -Colonial copper ..Bands on top ,crows, background of sign blackbird,.. chimney- stepping stones.. door, outline of windows ..outside border of sign..center of flower- eggshell..grass under house ..pumpkin vine leaves..grass under sign -hayride..top and bottom border..tops of flowers in pumpkin vine- avocado..roof , tree and backstitch in windows -hickory sticks .. diamond shapes and flowers and inside of windows- ye olde gold

A Little Fall Wreath

Hello friends!
My daughter stitched this Country Cottage Needleworks Seasonal Celebrations ( the top portion only) and I finished it into a wreath for her. We had used this wreath for the Summer chart , using ribbon to tie it to the wreath....but I thought it would be better to use burlap for the background and add sheet metal to the back of the stitching and a magnet to the burlap for easy changing out for the seasons..

She hangs the wreath on the hutch in her kitchen.. The fall leaves are just stuck into the wreath not glued so they can also be changed.
There is a piece of sticky board with burlap.. on top of that is a magnet.. I mounted the stitched piece to sticky board and also the plaid homespun to another piece of sticky board. Those 2 pieces were glued together..I use hot glue.. and then a small piece of sheet metal to the back of that. That way each season can be switched up in about 2 minutes!

A Fall Stitchy Wreath

Good morning!
I finished stitching this Prairie Schooler Autumn from the Prairie Seasons leaflet and today finished it into the seasonal wreath. This is the third season I have stitched .. only Winter is left to do !

I love, love, love Fall decorating and the entire Fall season so this is my favorite so far...

I just wrapped a wired berry garland around the wreath and used a burlap strip tied in a bow to attach to the wreath .

It hangs on the doors to my chalk painted hutch in the kitchen..I just love it! I got the wreath at Hobby Lobby and I keep using the same wreath and just change out the design.. I used some light brown gingham check on the bias for the background mat..The stitching and the mat are both on needlework sticky board.
