Good morning! We are so excited to bring you a new series for Friday's .. "Dapper Doodads"!
Dapper Doodads are the perfect size for all of your seasonal trees or to use as bowl fillers or smalls! The first is "Red , White and Blue" and its available herein our Etsy shop!
Harlow supervising the photo shoot :) Chelsea stitched "Red , White and Blue " on 28 count black evenweave with all Classic Colorworks ..
For finishing I used Lori Holt vintage trimand Chelsea's Checks. I added 2 different ribbons and a daisy to the top . I used a third ribbon for hanging . How will you use your "Dapper Doodads" ? Do you have a seasonal tree?
There will still be occasional "What's in my Cup" designs .. but for now the Doodads are here on Fridays!!

This is our Home .. What's In My Cup design availablehere in our Etsy shop
This was stitched by the 12 year old grand daughter! She used DMC and stitched it on Venetian Stone Aida ..To finish it I mounted it on sticky board with batting underneath .. I added red gingham to sticky board and glued the two pieces together . I found the little chalkboard easel at Michael's. I glued the stitched piece to the easel .. then added the little fence pieces on top . The fence pieces were scrapbooking embellishments ( not sure where they came from ).I added a vine to the fence and some yellow flower buds on top and some tucked behind the fence ..Two bows and a covered button were added to the top ..

The hutch in the family room is all decorated for our patriotic season!

Lots of stitched pieces on display in this hutch I found on Craig's list and then chalk painted off white . I love having it to display so many pretty pieces! Liberty sign is from Walmart last year ..

The hutch is all decorated in Red White and Blue and I just love this season for decorating!
I was lucky and found thisopen hutchon Craig's List earlier this year ... So this is it's first go with patriotic decor! It is so nice to have the seasons and holidays represented in my kitchen where I spend so much time!
You know I love my Rae Dunn .. and unfortunately I don't have very much in the way of patriotic pieces ..but with the flag garland ..little flags and patriotic cross stitch I think it's great!

The Home canister was a purchase last week from Marshall's on clearance.. it was so nice to be able to go into a store again! The flag pitcher has Cash's birth date on it ..
