The Patriotic kitchen Hutch

Happy Saturday friends!

I decided to use the kitchen hutch as a giant "Tiered Tray" for our patriotic "Tiered Tray Tidbits"! This is the hutch I found on Craigslist and we painted it with off white chalk paint ..

I love.. love ..love Rae Dunn .. and they fit in perfectly with all the Rae Dun pieces!

Spring Kitchen Hutch

Happy Sunday friends!!

The kitchen hutch is all decorated for Spring!

I am loving all the bright colors in the hutch .. it makes the kitchen look so happy!

There is that bunny birdhouse .. I don't do birdhouses .. I don't do birdhouses!! :)

Remember I found this hutch last winter through Craig's List and Chelsea chalk painted it for me ! It is the perfect hutch for all my Rae Dunn!

Up on top is a carrot patch sign from Hobby Lobby ,, a cotton garland and a black buffalo plaid rag garland along with the bunny and carrot garland are all on display...

The fence like mug rack was from Michael's last year .. The cottontail sign is from Hobby Lobby.

Halloween in the Kitchen Hutch

Good morning!

The kitchen hutch is all decorated for Halloween and I am loving it! Since I got this hutch in the winter last year this is it's first time being a Halloween hutch!

Of course a Couple of our Halloween What's In my Cup designs are displayed in the hutch .. this one is Boo .. Trick or Treat

and here is Witch Please

This hutch is just pure fun to decorate !

Up on top the Haunted Farmhouse sign came from Joann Fabrics last year on clearance after Halloween ..I also used a pom pom garland .. black buffalo plaid rag garland .. cotton branch garland and white lights ..

The mug rack next to the hutch has an autumn leaf garland and I moved the pumpkin patch sign above it ..

Lots of my everyday Rae Dunn was left because I don't have a lot of the Halloween pieces ..

I love the farmhouse beads and these came from Etsy ..

I was so excited to pull out the Halloween bowls that I got on clearance last year .. because this year you can't find anything!

Love the little bowls stacked with a pumpkin salt and pepper shaker inside .. I love this hutch and it looks perfect for Halloween!

New /Old Kitchen Hutch

Good morning!

I am so excited I finally found a hutch ( in my price range ) :) with no doors! Yesterday Chelsea helped me paint this up.. she did a great job and it is amazing! .. I bought Rustoleum Chiffon Cream chalk paint and linked it in our Amazon shop here It is the perfect cream color!

I found the hutch on Craig's List .. it was for sale in a consignment shop about 20 minutes away ..

so I got it last week and couldn't wait to fix it up! For those that asked the old hutch is going to live at Chelsea's house .. I had that hutch for probably 24 years .. It was oak that we painted ..

Not only is there more display space with no doors .. the underneath has legs so it is a space to decorate also ..

Oh my gosh I cannot tell you how much I love it .. after I got the open family room hutch I was on a mission to get one for the kitchen .. but they are few and far between .. so I was so excited to find this one .. It did have some issues .. candle wax spilled all over .. writing on the shelves .. some dog teeth marks .. and a couple cracks that had to be filled with wood filler .. when you use chalk paint there is no prep work ..just paint .. she did 2-3 coats on the hutch and it took a whole can of paint ..

I am just going to be standing in the kitchen all day starring at it :)

The top is flat so it is easier for all my chickens to be up on top .. I had issues with my old hutch because it sunk down so everything had to be raised up ..

It is perfect for my Rae Dunn collection ..

I left up the Winter decor and I can't wait to decorate this for spring !

I added 2 stitched pieces .. This Snowman grater

And the Prairie Schooler wreath

a vintage scale .. cow creamers ,,

I took one of the drawers from this wall shelf with me yesterday to match up the paint and after I got home I thought that would be a cute place for 3 mugs :) so I took out the drawers and it will be a cute spot to display the different seasons and holiday mugs!
