Jolly July Ornaments

Happy Tuesday Friends! 

I finished all of Kimberly from  Fat Quarter Shop ornaments this weekend and you all are getting the first looks! These are all the Dapper Doodads from Jolly July ..

Merry and Bright .. Jolly St. Nick .. Gingerbread Bakery .. Holly Jolly  and HoHoHo

The "backs"

These are all stitched on 14 count chalkboard black aida.

I finished these all as ornaments .. I used Chelsea's Checks for the fabric backing and the covered button .. Vintage trim was used on all the ornaments

Next are all the Tiered Tray Tidbits from Jolly July finished as ornaments! they look fabulous as ornaments and I plan to stitch a set for my tree! I used Priscilla's Pretty Plaids for the fabric .. I finished these like in the video below

Jolly St. Nick .. Dapper Doodad

Good morning! 

This is "Jolly St. Nick" the last in the "Jolly July" "Dapper Doodads" .. "Jolly St, Nick is available here in our Etsy shop !

Santa and his reindeer are up on the housetop of the prettiest house in the neighborhood!

Here are all 5 Dapper Doodads! "Jolly St. Nick" was stitched on 28 count black evenweave with all Classic Colorworks.. I finished it as an ornament and you can find the tutorial here ⬇⬇⬇

Chelsea Stitched " Sweet Jar"on 28 count black evenweave with all Classic Colorworks  .. I  finished her with Chelsea's Checks on a block from Stitch, Etc, on facebook. The little gingerbread are from Hobby Lobby.

Merry and Bright Dapper Doodad

Good morning! This is "Merry and Bright" .. the next " Dapper Doodad"!

Mr. and Mrs. Claus with their Merry and Bright banner holding their bowl of candy canes with a reindeer along for the ride!

Holly Jolly.. Gingerbread Bakery .. HoHoHo and Merry and Bright 

Chelsea stitched "Merry and Bright" on 28 count black evenweave with all Classic Colorworks .I finished "Merry and Bright " as an ornament ..I used Chelsea's Checks in the red/black ..The little tag is from Walmart last Christmas in the mini ornament section. The mini wreath and ribbon is from Hobby Lobby .. I added a felt Santa to the back of the ornament . Lori Holt Vintage trim for the edging

Jingle Jar.. Tiered Tray Tidbit

Good morning! 

We are still Jolly Julying with this "Tiered Tray Tidbit" .. "Jingle" ..

"Jingle is available here in our etsy shop

"Jingle" is a festive reindeer in his holiday best sweater holding tiny Mr. and Mrs. Claus ! He joins Jolly and Merry 'Tiered Tray Tidbits" 

Chelsea stitched "Jingle"on 28 count black evenweave with all Classic Colorworks .. For finishing I used a wood block from Stitch ,Etc on facebook .. I added Chelsea's Checks in red/white  and a gingham bow with a white bell for the center

HoHoHo ...Dapper Doodad ..Jolly July

Good morning! 

This is "HoHoHo" the newest "Dapper Doodad"!  Santa and his reindeer are flying over the sweetest Christmas houses stuffed in a mixing bowl!

Chelsea stitched "HoHoHO" on 28 count black evenweave with all Classic Colorworks For finishing I decided to make an ornament ,, I used the red and black Chelsea's checks ,, black check ribbon and a little Merrry and Bright sign from Walmart last Christmas .

Very Merry Jar .. Tiered Tray Tidbit

Good morning! 

Here comes Mrs. Claus.  showing off all her gingerbread baking and  Christmas decorating! "Very Merry" is available here in our Etsy shop ! 

Christmas in July is in full swing with us and  Fat Quarter shop ..Jolly July!

Aren't they the cutest couple? Chelsea stitched "Very Merry" on 28 count black evenweave with all Classic Colorworks. For finishing i used one of the Michael's blocks ..added Chelsea's Checks .. a bow to the top and  a wood star that I glued polka dot fabric to . I added a little wreath and gingerbread button to finish it off. These "Tiered Tray Tidbits" would also be perfect finished as ornaments or a sweet banner!

Jolly Jar.. Tiered Tray Tidbit

Good morning!

Are you ready for some "jars" of holiday cheer? This is "Jolly Jar" the first of the Christmas "Tiered Tray Tidbits! "Jolly Jar" is available here in our Etsy shop !

Santa and his reindeer are the stars of this jar.. Chelsea stitched "Jolly Jar" on 28 count black evenweave with all Classic Colorworks ..For finishing 

For finishing I used one of the blocks from Michael's .. Item # on chart . I used Chelsea's Checks for the background . I added a bow to the top with a wood star that I glued red polka dot fabric to. I added a little wreath to the center of the star. These designs would also be perfect for ornaments to decorate your tree .. which you could follow our finishing tutorials for ..
