Land That I Love

Happy Thursday! 

I finished stitched Land That I Love from Country Cottage Needleworks last night and finished it up this morning ...

I had found this truck at Michael's several weeks ago .. and it was just waiting for me to finish this piece up! I mounted the stitching to sticky board .. with 2 layers of batting underneath .. Then added red gingham check to another sticky board that was a lot longer so I could glue it to the back of the truck ..

The truck has a base so it can sit anywhere .. This is our stitchalong #pclandthatIlove

I added some bunting I made from ribbon and twine trim .. added daisies with plaid patriotic fabric covered buttons ,, and a flag glued to the back 

I used the Classic Colorworks floss colors I chose that are available at the Fat Quarter Shop
