More Scarves, Stitching ,Spring and Hobby Lobby !

Good morning ! Hope you have had a great week !
I have been making more of these infinity scarves..This time with a baseball applique! Aren't they too cute !?! These are for a blogger/instagram friend ..They were her idea , but I am going to steal that idea and make a football applique for myself :) I have 2-1/2 done ..2-1/2 more to go !

I finished up the September With Thy Needle and Thread Wordplay.. I left out those little orange designs, and added another person and some more of the wave design.. I think I am going to do one more row of the wave design in the top left corner...

Stitching on March right now, I am not loving the burnt orange color and think its going to be replaced with another color of green..

While at Hobby Lobby to get more navy yarn for those scarves, I wandered to the clearance section at 90% off ! These pillows were $99.00 for $9.99 ..

And this lamp...$89.99 for $9.00 ! I think I am going to use it in the spare bedroom that we are getting ready to repaint and decorate ! Isn't it fabulous ! Love the little rusty flowers !

I have been Springing up the house even though it has been below zero ! So cold ! Our village workers came yesterday and removed the huge pile of snow from our yard .. I wonder if its because we are supposed to get more snow this weekend ???

I love this wrought iron tiered basket I got at an Estate sale.. I filled it with tulips from Michaels , made a chalkboard sign , and added a burlap bow.

Have a great weekend ! My daughter is off today so we are going Estate sale shopping ! Hope we can find some great bargains :)

My Favorite Infinity Scarf Pattern Dressed Up !

Good Monday Morning !
I love these infinity scarves ! They are fast and easy to make and with the addition of a crocheted flower they are so cute ! I sewed the flowers on ,you could probably also sew a big button on the back of the flower to be able to remove it from the scarf..

My usual scarf model is frolicking in Florida , so I got the help of my sons girlfriend ..

and one of our Jack Rusells to model the scarves :) Aren't they the cutest !! Hey.. when there's no one else at home , you resort to dressing up the dog :)

Super bowl food yesterday ...Buffalo Wings, homemade eggrolls, chicken and cheese quesadilas,

bacon cheeseburger dip and a veggie tray with our favorite Homemade ranch dressing ..For dessert...these football strawberries.. I dipped them in chocolate , then melted white chocolate with a little shortening and put it into a pastry bag to pipe the stitch marks.. very easy and cute !

De-Christmasing And Winterizing !

Good Morning ! I have been kind of slow this year putting away all the Christmas decorations .. I just wasn't ready for my favorite time of year to be over ! My big chalkboard in the kitchen has been winterized ! Don't you love it ! I will be back tomorrow to show you my Winter Kitchen !

I have been crocheting more of those square scarves ! So fun and easy ! The navy and black have sparkly yarn and the top one is a grey blue variegated. There was a cream and gold sparkly one too , but my daughter has already taken it :)

The big ( real ) tree is coming down today , garbage day is tomorrow and I wanted to enjoy it for all the days I could ! I always keep up 2 trees for the month of January , Can't just go cold -turkey treeless ! This year I kept up the owl tree on the stairs and the snowman tree in the family room .

My first cross stitch ornament for 2014 , of course its Prairie Schooler ( there's a lot of stitches in that little ornament !!

We have had so much snow this past week , 18 inches in a 2 day period , and now it is going to be -17 tonight and -14 for the high tomorrow ! A lot of schools around here are closing ! Hope you stay warm !
