Look at here chubby legs .. she is the cutest little snowgirl skating on a bowl! :) She is surrounded by snowflakes and evergreens ..  I used the same finishing for all the ornaments  and you can find finishing instruction below in this video ..

Hello Winter .. Snowed In With The Housewives

Good morning and Happy Friday! 

My cup runneth over with the happiest winter home .. snowman .. sledding cardinals ..a beautiful topiary.. a blue jay and falling snow! You can find Hello Winter in our Etsy shop here 

I stitched it on 28 count black evenweave with all Classic Colorworks floss ..

I finished it on a house decor piece from Michael's in the the Christmas section.. I used our Priscilla's Pretty Plaids on sticky board for the backing .. the trees were included on the frame .. but I added the snowflake buttons( Hobby Lobby) and the snowman and snowflake ( Hobby Lobby) buttons to the wreath .. I also added the black check ribbon to the wreath . super simple finish to add to your Winter decor!

Snow Day ... Snowed in with the Housewives

Good morning!

 EEk ! Look at Those chickens! :)

This is the 3rd in the Snowed In With The Housewives series .. Snow Day! It is available here in our Etsy shop! It is stitched on 28 count black evenweave with all Classic Colorworks floss 

The chickens are sledding and making snowmen on their "Snow Day"! I finished it the same way as our video tutorial below ..

 

I used the blue and white from Priscilla's Pretty Plaids .. Lori Holt vintage trim in cloud around the edges .. bell and snowman button from Hobby Lobby .. sticky board from Fat Quarter shop

Snow Cottage .. Snowed In With The Housewives

Good morning! It's Wednesday so that means another ornament in the Snowed in with the Housewives series! Snow Cottage is available here in our Etsy shop 

Snow Delivery and Snow Cottage ..Aren't they cute together! Snow Cottage is stitched on 28 count black evenweave with all Classic Colorworks .. I finished it just like this ornament finishing tutorial below ... plus I added some small vintage trim around the outside of the ornament 

I used our Priscilla's Pretty Plaids.. and a little burlap snowflake on the back 

I made 2 bows for the top and added a snowman jingle bell from Hobby Lobby

Let It Snow and Deck The Halls!

Good morning! 

We are so excited to share 2 new What's In My Cup designs!  

First continuing with our "Holidays with The Housewives" is "Deck The Halls".. The chickens are doing the decorating  this year! Our New "Snowed in with the Housewives" series  we have "Let it Snow" ! Both are available here in our Etsy shop .. and thank goodness Etsy worked today! 

The little house frame is from Michael's .. I added the black and white Priscilla's Pretty Plaids to sticky board and glued it in the back of the wood house piece .I then mounted the stitching to sticky board with a layer of batting underneath and then glued that to the fabric covered sticky board   The little trees and wreath came on the piece .. I just added a check ribbon to the top of the wreath ... so simple but so cute! The house item # is on  the chart .

Look at those festive chickens! 

Now to our Snowed in With the Housewives.. Let it Snow is the first of the cups featuring Winter! Our sweet snowman is all ready to shovel  with the snow falling around him ! He's got his warm scarf and a checkered shirt to keep him warm! 

I finished this on the Hot Cocoa tin from Michaels.. I also used the black Priscilla's Pretty Plaids for the backing .. On top of the tin I made 2 bows .. added a Let It Snow tag from Walmart and a little snowy pinecone .. Flocked picks and greenery picks were glued under the bow ..
