August Squaredance

Good morning!
This is August Square Dance from Heart In Hand Needleart ..

I had stitched the June Square dance and used this Buffalo check tin from Hobby Lobby and all of the square dance charts will be attached to this tin ..

I made some color changes .. I used all Classic Colorworks floss in the colors of .. RainShower , Black Coffee, Muddy Puddle , Queen Bee, Bamboo.. I mounted it on sticky board with batting underneath then mounted yellow plaid fabric to sticky board .. Glued the two pieces together and added a buffalo check bow .. a sunflower with a covered button and a Little bee..magnets and washers attach it to the tin..

I didn't use the buttons that come in the chart but instead made little bees .. I also changed the shape of the 2nd from the right bee skep .. this only took a couple hours to stitch ..and is so cute!

Beeeutiful !

 Good morning!
Isn't this just beeutiful? This is Chelsea's first finish this year .. It is from Prairie Schooler Where there are bees chart..Stitched on our 28 count tea/coffee dyed Monaco ..

We found these frames last year at the Goodwill for 99 cents . We didn't paint it it came like this..I mounted some black homespun check onto sticky board for the back .. mounted the stitching on sticky board and then made a bow from cream colored lace and torn black ticking..a little bee button and a couple  little yellow thistles on each side .. adorable!

 After our video yesterday , we made 22 baby bibs ..we used flannel for both sides .. Chelsea found the pattern here..
