Christmas in The Foyer

 Good morning!
Happy Monday!
Today we are in the foyer..
I love this Prairie Schooler stitching mounted on a tray..
By the front door is this little tree that is filled with little ornaments..its sitting in a bushel basket from a flea market.. Plaid and gingham bows are tied on the side....
The stair garland this year has chalkboard ribbon ( Michael's) and black gingham ribbon..along with cotton stems ,burlap ribbon, a flocked greenery garland and white lights.. Clusters of Christmas balls from the Dollar tree

The coffee filter wreath hangs here year round..there is a vintage garland around the mirror with a berry garland on top of that.
The December A Year In Chalk sits on a pedestal plate.. There is a strand of lights woven through the greenery on the top of this green cabinet..they end up in the bottom of the little putz like church to light it up..

The little pickup truck with trees in the back ready to deliver..
One of my favorite estate sale finds is the big Santa.. He is handmade and just amazing..
The owl tree sits on the stairs in the foyer
along with the Merry and Bright Tree..

Owls and Merry and Bright

 Good morning!
Here is tree #4 The owl tree..This tree sits on the stairs and there isn't a plug nearby so its the only tree that's not lit up..There are pine cones, silver glitter branches, snowflake burlap ribbon.. white berry strands ..There is a diy pinecone topper
This is the owl trees 3rd Christmas ..I added a few new ornaments this year and also the white fur garland.. I made the crocheted owls and you can find the pattern here.. The bottom is wrapped with a piece of burlap..
and tree #5 is the Merry and Bright tree also in the foyer.. Last year was the first year for this tree.. it sits in a flea market basket
last year I decorated it in red and green ..this year red and white..with strips of red ticking for the garland..
The letters are from my scrapbooking "stash" and I glittered them and added them to some jute..The white reindeer ornaments are form Walmart .. Both of these trees are 4 feet..

Two Trees In The Foyer

Good Morning ! I am back from the cruise and sharing the 2 trees in the foyer!
On the stairs is a tree with owl ornaments..pinecones , snowflakes and burlap.. The pattern for the crocheted owl ornaments is here..
I made the tree topper from pinecones , a dollar tree snowflake ornament and a paper towel roll.I just glued the pinecones to a small piece of cardboard..then added another layer of pinecones on top , and the snowflake on top of the second layer. I used hot glue for the glueing. I glued about a 6 inch piece of the paper towel roll to the back and used that to stick the top branch of the tree in. I then sprayed it with some glitter spray so it sparkles. There is no plug where this tree is so there are no lights on it.
There are so many owl ornaments available now !

I have never had a tree right in this spot where the merry and bright tree is . I got the basket at a church rummage sale for 50 cents this summer .. I made the merry and bright banner with my cricut ..cut each letter out twice and glued them together. Then used mod podge and dipped them in glitter. I glued them to a piece of twine for hanging.

The lime green and red ornaments I bought at Walmart last year for 10 cents each after Christmas. I also added some Dollar Tree Ball ornaments.

There is a berry garland and red and green berry and floral picks at the top.
I made a bow for the top from red sequin wired ribbon.

Christmas in the Foyer

It's Christmas in the foyer ! I have this little table by the front door.. I have a little snow scene in a mason jar, a chalkboard from a thrift store frame and one of my Dept.56 Santas..

The owl tree sits on the stairs, with a subway art sign.. The stair garland is flocked greenery , snowflakes and some white floral picks from an estate sale. I used 3 big burlap bows, and wove some burlap ribbon through it also.

The view from the living room ..
I got this Santa at an Estate sale for $ 8.00 ..he has a $225.00 price tag on him.. He is handmade and fabulous !
I got these little glitter houses last year at Joann Fabrics, they are ornaments .. wish they ahd more this year! I have them on a silver tray with snow, and bottle brush trees, and a little chalkboard made from a wood piece from Michaels..
The coffee filter wreath hangs above the mirror with burlap and a platinum colored sparkly bow. The snowflake is from The Dollar Tree..

Under the table I have a vintage tool box filled with greens and 3 huge ornaments.. I painted the sign , using my Cricut ..I cut out letters and traced around them , then painted and glittered them. Its on one of the old shelves to my craft show displays.. Those boards toured the country so its fun to use them now in our decorating!

When you walk in our front door this is what you see.. the living room is opened up since we removed the wall this year.. Below is last year , with the wall still there with the mirror on it. It makes the house seem so much bigger.. The doorway to the kitchen was also widened so that makes a big difference too..
This is the view of the living room from the front door.. The real tree is massive.. :)We  Couldn't have found a better one !
