The Pioneer Woman, Colorado and Football!

Happy Saturday!
Yesterday my daughter and I went to Naperville Illinois (about an hour and 15 minutes away) to get our cookbooks signed by Ree Drummond ,The Pioneer Woman..We shopped during the day ,had dinner then went to the book signing..So many beautiful shops full of pretty things in Naperville!  We were # 456 and 457 to get our books signed! Ree looks good for having signed all those books before us :)
Last weekend we flew into Denver and went to Colorado Springs.. We saw The Garden of The Gods..It was gorgeous and we had good weather the whole weekend!

We drove up Pike's Peak ..Couldn't drive all the way to the top..the last 5 miles were closed due to snow and ice..Isn't it beautiful!
Then on Saturday we were in Fort Collins at Colorado State to see my sons team San Diego State win another game ! WooHOO!
The view from the airplane coming home last Sunday ..

and I will leave you with my view this morning.. Christmas stitching( Hands On Design A Year In Chalk) .. a new cup from Homegoods for my tea ..and my pup!
Have a great weekend!

Delightful post (as usual :)). I would love to meet Ree Drummond. She's one of my favorites on the food channel. Cute stitching too!

What a fun day with your daughter! I love the Pioneer Woman's cookbooks and I'm sure it was a delight to meet her and get your book signed.

Really gorgeous CO photos--another place I'd like to visit. How nice that your son's games are taking you to so many pretty parts of the U.S.

Enjoy some lazy stitching time today with your cute pup!
