Star Spangled Swine Farm!

Good morning!
It's such an exciting day because you get to see the newest Farmhouse Chalk ! This is Star Spangled Swine Farm! My chalkboard to cross stitch collaboration with Hands On Design! It's red white and blue farmy fabulousness!

Don't you love Red , white and blue along with pigs , chickens and a cow!

I finished the smallest piece the same way I did the small from Carrots and Cottontails .. I added 2 layers of batting under the stitching and attached it to sticky board .. I also added red "vintage trim " from Lori Holt and the Fat Quarter shop .. I stuffed the thrifted wooden box with daisies ..a cotton branch .. a bow made from black check and red, white and blue check ribbons .. I also tucked a flag into the top ..
The biggest piece went onto the bottom of the "door " it is mounted on sticky board and then added to another piece of  sticky board covered in black buffalo check fabric .. Love the banner and the house and the cute little piggies in the back of the truck! I cant forget those pretty chickens with the bunting!
The chalkboards I drew for the designs ..

I found the wreath at Hobby Lobby .. this one is different than the one I used for Carrots and Cottontails .. I added a bow to the top made from 3 different ribbons.. A metal flag also from Hobby Lobby .. and plaid ribbons and daisies scattered around ..I used little daisy trim around the stitching .. and mounted it on plaid fabric ..

The sign portion took a trip through  Disneyland .. Pluto and Minnie loved it!

I have been so excited for you to see this ! I hope you all love it as much as I do!

Call your shops or get on a list somewhere to get the chart when it comes out towards the end of May!

after seeing your decorative efforts (which I love!) I decided maybe I had made my house a little too "vanilla" when I dressed it down to put up for sale.

I retrieved a chalkboard from it's recent banishment to the garage storage and am in the process of recreating something with a little character for the mantle...Thanks for the inspiration!

I was recently introduced to you and Chelsea thru Fat Quarter shop. I stitched over 40 yrs ago and then moved into quilting. Now you both made me bite the bullet again and I’m hooked. I drove all over last week to find a shop that carries cross stitch designs and floss. Not easy. Most places closed up and no Hobby Lobby. Ordered a couple of PDFs online and am almost finished with one for my daughter who I taught to stitch at a very young age. She stopped because of the cost of framing. Your designs are absolutely beautiful and your finishing is beyond words. My birthday is July 3rd and my anniversary is July 4th. If dh and I were still working every penny would be spent on your designs. I don’t know if I can wait until next year for Liberty. I love it. Stitching is now back in my life and helps especially after 2 major surgeries this year. Thank you for what you do and your beautiful designs and talent. Camille

Cuteness overload! My mom grew up on a farm and they had pigs. Reminds me of my visits there over 4th of July weekend every year for our family reunions!
