Our trip to Fat Quarter Shop

Happy Friday!

I thought I would give you a little peek of our trip to the Fat Quarter Shop in Austin Texas! We had such an exciting trip .. it was just the best!We flew out of  Ohare airport in Chicago on a Tuesday morning ..

We were met at the airport by Kimberly and Denise.. We loved meeting Kimberly and her team ! The whole place was just amazing with beautiful quilts everywhere!
When we walked in to the studio it was like being at home with all of our cross stitch on display! We had sent to big boxes of our finished pieces the week before .. The first video we filmed was this one ..
Our favorite stitchy things video..

eeek! Lilly with our names on the "clapper board" :)

We filmed 2 other videos the first day and those will be coming up sometime later this month ..

On Wednesday we filmed the Live flosstube with Kimberly .. it was amazing to be able to answer all the questions the viewers were asking!

That same day we filmed all of our Stitchmaynia projects we were starting .. there were 97 projects between the 3 of us!
The last day was spent doing some  finishing ... I finished up a couple pieces and those will be videos later this month also!

Lots of videos are still left to come on both the Fat Quarter Shop Flosstube and our channel !

Denise and Kimberly on our last night ..
We had such a great time and hope we can do it again! Cash is Ready!
And then it was Friday and time to go home!

We reach out to the poorest of poor with the love of Chris to bring healing to the brokeneharted. WE also encourage young and the adults from the west to coem to Mumbai to work with us during heir vacation time. We would lvoe to have young people from your family circle who are interested in short / long term missions trip to work with us during their vacation time. So happy the trip went extremely well and because of the 2 of you cross stitching is getting an uplift. You are introducing so many new stitchers, this is so exciting. You finish your projects, you give us the inspiration.

Cash is so happy! Such a cutie.

Feeling like a stitch-sister here! I also use the gallon Ziploc baggies for my projects. I currently have index cards that are hole-punched that I use for my threads, but they do tend to fall apart with all the wear and tear. I like the idea of using the binder rings and think I will give it a try!
