Its the large part of the Fresh Eggs Farm chart from Hands on Design and me ..
So.. this is not my stitching .. just my finishing .. It was stitched by Sally Ann .. the humble bumble stitcher on instagram ... and her website https://www.thehumblebumblestitcher.com/ She stitched it for an auction item for Michelle.. Farmgirl on Youtube for her retreat Midwest cross stitch retreat in Minnesota .. so Michelle asked if I would finish it and this is what I came up with..
I mounted it on sticky board and added a red gingham ruffle.. I used plaid ribbon for the bow.. lambs ear for greenery and cotton branches .. An enamel chicken sits up on top ..I love it and am shipping it out to Michelle today ..so if you are headed to the retreat you can bid on it :) Can't wait to see where it ends up!

I loved my Mason Jar chalkboard so much I needed to have it look Halloweenish .. so here it is!
What's better than a vintage blue mason jar filled with jack o Lanterns! Don't you all grow jack o lanterns in your gardens :)
This vintage buffet in my family room is a mix of Fall and Halloween .. most vignettes I have done contain one or the other but this one is both! The tiered tray is oval ..the bottom shelf has a Autumn Rae Dunn platter ..cotton branches and fall leaves.. the middle shelf has vintage chickens in fall colors ..more cotton and a burlap pumpkin .. the top holds a stitched Annie Beez Folkart piece that is mounted on a vintage silver tray..
I always think after I draw a chalkboard that I would love to stitch it ... but this one I NEED to stitch it!
With Thy Needle and Thread October wordplay .. also mounted on a vintage tray ..and it got a homespun ruffle update this year ..Thanks so much for stopping by!

Ronnie has already claimed mine ! We used 5 inch squares and made twin size quilts with fall prints..
Cash has claimed Chelsea's :) Most of the fabric was fabric stash that I had .. we did buy 4 of the prints ..one of them is the black check .. We used black check homespun for the binding and mine has a orange leafy backing and Chelsea's a golden yellow fall fabric ..
Then we decided to cut Halloween 4 inch squares to make another Halloween quilt for each of us! This was also all fabric I had except for a bundle that was sent to us by The Loopy Ewe ..
Love having different quilts for the different seasons!

I had to use some of those Dollar Tree witch legs as a topper .. and another pair sticking out further down the tree.. love them!
This is my white pencil skinny tree that I use in the kitchen for my chalkboard ornaments..
I couldn't put it where it was last year in the hall because of the stair and carpet project that is going on .. so it is in the living room .. not really crazy about its location and if things go well it will get moved to the foyer before Halloween :) my husband said .."you can't move a tree" ...where is the eyeroll emolji ? :)
There is lots of tulle , Halloween orange and black ribbon ..and lots of crows from the Dollar Tree ..
Only a couple cross stitched ornaments this year but hoping someday there will be lots!

A chalkboard sits front and center .. Halloween salt and pepper shakers.. buffalo check pumpkins .. and lots of buffalo check ribbon ..
It sits in the middle of the kitchen table on top of the quilted table runner we made last year..
I found these pretty yellow tinted lights at Dollar Tree and used 2 strings of them .. they look so pretty at night!
Autumn Acres Farm hangs on the wall in the dining room and Prairie Schooler seasons is in a wreath on the hutch ..

I decided it needed some of the candy corn I made for Chelsea's Halloween Rules.. so I made some of them from felt and then made a banner of homespun and covered buttons .. It is all glued on twine which is tied around the top of the vintage window for easy changing up!
Calvin had to give his ok ,, since its a Halloween piece :)
I also took it out to the garbage can and hammered the glass out of it so I felt safe hanging it up over the doorway into the family room from the kitchen .. there were 2 panes of glass in each one and they were pretty hard to break!
Love those candy corn!

I have been Halloweening up the house! Calvin is loving it ! :)
The mantel is all set for Halloween .. a jack o lantern chalkboard .. Jack o lanterns.. and pumpkins are all on display..
I made the book page Halloween banner a couple years ago .. Big black leaves , and black crows ..sweater pumpkins and real pumpkins
There are fall leaf garlands, a rag garland of black buffalo check and burlap .. and orange and white lights..black tulle is also woven in with the garlands..Calvin is loving the Halloween for his spooky cat attitude ..
There is a small chalkboard on the vintage fence on the hearth .. and a stamped subway art I made a few years ago..
