What’s In My Cup? “Cream”

Good morning!
It's time for some Cream in your cup!
This is #4 in our Farmhouse ..What's in your Cup series!

of course a cow had to join the Pig, goat and rooster and she is just the sweetest brown cow with her flowers in her hair ...two babies and a milk bucket !
 To finish her I used this enamel piece from Tractor Supply ..Chelsea found these around Christmas time and it does have a Christmas saying on it .I used magnets to attach the stitched  piece to the enamel . I mounted the stitching on sticky board with batting underneath ..and also added black check fabric to another sticky board . Glued the two pieces together and then added 2 magnets to the back . I added 2 ribbons for the bows and a sunflower .. Mine is stitched on black 28 count evenweave with all Classic Colorworks floss

Chalkfull “Bloom”

Good morning!
This is Chalkfull ..Bloom the 6th in the series of 7 of my chalkboard to cross stitch collaboration with Hands On Design . What's better than a Mason Jar full of daisies ?

When floss colors were being picked .. I said how about using the red for the jar ? I love the way it turned out! I used the same enamel stand to finish it that I used for all the others. This stand is still available at Hobby Lobby . I use magnets to attach so they are easily changed out . I mounted my stitching on sticky board and also mounted big buffalo checks on sticky board . I glued those two pieces together and added a red check bow with a daisy in the center topped by a covered button of ticking stripe fabric .

For the small piece I used the enamel bucket from Hobby Lobby . I mounted it in an oval shape with 2 layers of batting underneath .. A row of Lori Holt vintage trim in Cloud and gathered torn red check fabric trim the edges . I made a bow of 2 kinds of ribbon to attach to the handle with a daisy and covered button on top . I also added another bow and daisy to the bottom side of the stitching attaching it to the ruffle .

Here are all 6 .. I love making collages like this to see all the different seasons! One more to come!

What’s in my cup .. Wake Up!

Good morning! Time to "Wake Up" and see What's in My Cup!

A rooster has joined the goat and pig !
 I finished him on the mason jar board from April at Homestead Needleworke ..I attached plaid fabric to sticky board and also mounted the stitching on sticky board with batting underneath .. a burlap ribbon ..twine flower with a plaid covered button and a wooden chicken cutout tops it all off ..

He is stitched on 28 count black evenweave with Classic Colorworks floss ..

So it is time to Wake Up and get to stitching! :)

Peep 2

Good morning!
This is Peep one of our charts available in our Etsy shop , and this is stitched by one of our You Tube viewers Barbara and finished by me .. She won the finishing in one of our giveaways!

One of our other sweet viewers sent us the tin for the finish :)

I mounted the piece on sticky board with batting underneath ..and then glued it to another piece of sticky board that I had added black gingham fabric to .. both pieces eere then glued to the canister ..

For the bow I used 2 ribbons and a little nest that I placed moss in and a tiny fuzzy peep ..Thanks so much Barbara for letting me finish your project!

Penelope and Peep 2

Good morning!
This is Penelope and Peep stitched by Kimberly at Fat Quarter shop and finished by me :) It is stitched on aqua Fashion Flair fabric you can see that here

Since we are not able to go to shop at this time .. I found this frame in my stash of frames ( found on clearance or thrifting ) It was gold and I chalk painted it Picket fence from Lori Holt's Chalky paint ..I used a pale orange fabric for the back and of course used sticky board .. I made a bow with aqua check ribbon .. burlap ribbon and a flower ..

FarmCharm . What's in my Cup ?

Good morning!
Who let the goats out ? :) You can find the sweet goats in our etsy shop here 

These will make the perfect addition to your Farmhouse decor!

Last week was Farmhouse  

To finish the goats .. I used a small chalkboard from the Spring section at Walmart .. I mounted the stitching on sticky board , and also mounted red gingham checks on sticky board . I glued those 2 pieces together and then glued them to the chalkboard . I made a bow with 2 different ribbons and a wood barn I had in my stash .. Simple and so easy! Our charts are easy to read and in color so you can stitch them up quickly!
