October Truckin' Along

 Good morning!

 Here is October in our Truckin' Along series a Year of Vintage Trucks!

Calvin is so happy that it's featuring his favorite time of year!

 well .. not that happy :) lol

I stitched mine on 28 count black evenweave .. I used the same frame I have used for all of them .. changing out the months with magnets and washers . The finishing fabric is from our Halloween finishing bundle at The Fat Quarter shop ..I made a bow with orange and black stripe ribbon .. candy corn picks from Michael's and the wood cat was from Walmart last year ..

Floss colors are listed below and this starts shipping to shops August 3rd.. It will be listed in our Etsy Shop September 15..

June Truckin Along #2

Happy Monday Friends! 

This is the June Truckin' Along stitched by Kimberly from Fat Quarter Shop  and finished by me! 

She stitched hers in one piece instead of two and asked for a pug to put on the hood of the truck ..so I made her a pug which you can also use these two cute pups for your trucks .. To finish her piece I mounted it on sticky board .. and then mounted red check fabric on sticky board ..I then glued those 2 pieces together and  glued them to this cute ladder that was purchased at Hobby Lobby 

 5204219 is the item number ..

I made a bow with red stripe ribbon and black check ribbon .. added a daisy and a couple strawberries ..

Gingham Greetings.. Jolly July Ornament 2

 Good morning.. It's Friday!
This is Gingham Greetings ..ornament #2 in the Jolly July series of 4 ..It's available here in our Etsy shop 

This ornament features an adorable red truck with a gingham tree and wreath! The snow is falling making the perfect winter scene

Jolly July .. Jolly Claus

 Good morning!
We are so excited for Jolly July and our series of 4 ornaments .. the first is Jolly Claus ! He is available in our Etsy shop here ..

The sweetest Santa carrying his Jolly sign ! To finish him I mounted the stitching on sticky board with batting underneath .. I then added plaid fabric ( this is from our Christmas finishing bundle at Fat Quarter Shop ) to 2 sticky boards.. I added the black check ribbon tie behind one of the plaid boards and also Lori Holt vintage trim in cloud ..and then glued those 2 plaid fabric covered sticky boards together right sides out so the back is finished .

I added 2 different ribbon bows to the top and a little bottle brush wreath .. I also added flocked greenery  underneath the ribbon..He is a quick stitch so I can't wait to see your finishes!

Another Home .. What’s In My Cup

Good morning!
This is our Home .. What's In My Cup design available here in our Etsy shop

This was stitched by the 12 year old grand daughter! She used DMC and stitched it on Venetian Stone Aida ..To finish it I mounted it on sticky board with batting underneath .. I added red gingham to sticky board and glued the two  pieces together . I found the little chalkboard easel at Michael's. I glued the stitched piece to the easel .. then added the little fence pieces on top . The fence pieces were scrapbooking embellishments ( not sure where they came from ).I added a vine to the fence and some yellow flower buds on top and some tucked behind the fence ..Two bows and a covered button were added to the top ..
