Fall Sunflowers ..

 Happy Saturday!
This is Fall Sunflowers ..our 3rd installment in our 4 part series in Punch Needle and Primitive Stitcher magazine! The magazine will be available the first week of September ..

 Our design features a barn .. fall corn ..sunflowers and cute pigs and chickens! I finished it on the same barnwood frame .. I added brown gingham to sticky board and added some Lori Holt lace trim to the sides .. 2 different bows and a sunflower finish it off.. I used magnets and washers to be able to switch out each season .

Fall Y'All ..What's In My Cup!

 Happy Friday!
This is Fall Y'All  .. the second of the  Fall "What's In My Cup" series! It is available here in our Etsy Shop

 The cutest scarecrow in town has taken up residence in my cup with corn stalks and crows!

 For finishing I used a paddle from Lela Mae Designs .. I mounted the stitching on sticky board .. with a layer of batting underneath .. I added the black Buffalo plaid from our fabric collection onto another sticky board .. glued the 2 pieces together and then glued them to the paddle . I added 2 bows and a velvet pumpkin to the top .. I can't wait to decorate for Fall!

Sunflowers and Bees in the Kitchen Hutch

Good morning!
After the patriotic decor comes down I decorate with sunflowers and bees until I start the Fall decorating .. so here is the hutch in the kitchen all sunflowered and bee'd up!

I am so glad I found this open shelf hutch ..it is so nice to display lots of Rae Dunn in the kitchen!

The top Flower Market sign I got on clearance last year at Michael's ..Love it up there .. a cotton garland and a buffalo check rag garland decorate the top .. Vintage chickens .. Rae Dunn.. 2 vintage scales ..( I got one this weekend at a Flea Market and it is Pink! Isn't it amazing!

Of course all the animals are patiently waiting for their breakfast :)

Harvest ..What's In My Cup!

 Good morning! It's time for the Fall/ Autumn What's In My Cup! This is Harvest ..and it's available in our Etsy shop here 

 Harvest features a barn with sunflowers surrounding it ..the chickens are guarding the best pumpkin in the patch! I stitched mine on 28 count black evenweave .

For finishing I used the barn from Hobby Lobby's Spring shop..I found this barn last week on clearance for 66% off. I mounted the stitching on sticky board ..with batting underneath.

 I used the black buffalo check from our Priscilla's Pretty Plaids on another piece of sticky board and then added Lori Holt Vintage trim to the sides . I glued both pieces together and then glued them to the back of the barn piece.

I added a black check bow to the top and a sunflower on top of the bow ..

Blessed Sunflowers and Bees Tiered Tray

Good morning!

This is Blessed our freebie available here .. I had found this frame at Michael's a couple months ago , and used washers and magnets to attach it .

I used my Rae Dunn bee mugs and honey pot to the tray .. along with sunflowers .. greenery .. wood beads .. vintage chickens and cow creamers .

I stitched Blessed on 28 count black Monaco .. I mounted the stitching on sticky board ..with batting underneath ..I added another sticky board with black buffalo plaid.. ( Priscilla's Pretty Plaids) 

I added a black check bow with a sunflower on top to the sticky board so the whole thing will come off to change the design .

I think it looks perfect on the tiered tray on the kitchen table .. and I can't wait to show you the hutch all full of Rae Dunn ..sunflowers and bees ..

Happy Harvest

Good morning! 

This is Country Cottage Needleworks Happy Harvest .. stitched by Chelsea and finished by me !

I mounted the stitching on sticky board with batting underneath and also some of the black and white buffalo plaid ( Priscilla's Pretty PLaids) fabric on another sticky board .. I Glued the two pieces together and then glued them to this adorable black paddle from Lela Mae Designs 

Our finishing fabrics from Henry Glass will be out next month!

For finishing I made a bow of orange plaid ..added some fall leaves and a velvet pumpkin ..Thanks so much for stopping by!

Feels Like Home

Good morning!

This is Feels Like Home .. a stitch a long with the Fat Quarter Shop and this is Kimberly's stitching and my finishing ...

I mounted the stitching on sticky board and also mounted grey buffalo checks on sticky board .. I topped the grey sticky board with Lori Holt vintage trim . I glued both of the sticky board together and then glued to this wood tray .. I added an aqua check bow and some green thistles.. I topped the bow with a grey check fabric covered button  .. very simple finish!
