A Stitchy Update

Good morning.. it's time for a stitchy update!
So my "spoiled" daughter dropped off her latest projects for me to finish up for her.. :)
She stitched 3 of the eggs from Prairie Schooler Farm Fresh and just made the bottom straight instead of rounded. We found this frame at Michael's and how perfect with the chicken wire..

I ripped strips of homespun and gathered it and glued it to the back of the mounted pieces. They are attached with magnets and sheet metal..I used the clothespins just for decoration.
Then it is Hen Party from Little House Needleworks.. I used a 99 cent frame from the Goodwill and chalk painted it. I mounted the homespun onto the backing of the frame and mounted the stitching to sticky needlework board, Black check homespun tied in a bow with a covered button to finish it.
It's really cute!
Now for my stitching.. I am participating in Stitchmaynia  again this year and starting a 20 projects for the first 20 days..and yes I know I am nuts!
Patriotic Poppies from With Thy Needle and Thread was my start for day 5

Home of the Brave from Little House Needleworks was day 4
Country Cottage Needleworks Merry Christmas My Deer for day 3
Long May she Wave from Little House Needleworks day 2
Plum Street Samplers Scary 2 was day 1 and the last day of April I started Strawberry House from Little house Needleworks ..I was traveling so some of these are airplane shots :)
So that's my update .. I'll be back soon to show you some more of my starts!

The creative way that you mount your needlework is as pretty as the work. You are so talented :)

I like how you finished the 3 eggs with chicken wire in the frame. Love the bow and covered button for the 2nd piece. Enjoy your pieces that you are starting for Stitch Maynia.
