Stitching Away..and Football!

Good Morning and Happy Labor Day!
I thought I would show you what I have been stitching..
I have had the 2 patterns above for forever...and I finally decided to take the plunge and stitch them !I tea stained some light blue 28 count evenweave ..it looks more grey than blue like the photo is showing. If you have never seen these , they stitch them together as one pattern and its adorable!
My stocking progress.. I am getting there slowly but surely!
Working on Lizzie Kate Halloween Rules..The whole set as one piece.

Lizzie Kate Jingles..Made a start ..not much progress! I am going to finish it and use the same fence panels to display it as The Lizzie Kate Tingles.

Ornaments From Country Cottage Needleworks, and Little House Needleworks
My favorite Prairie Schooler Santas ,and an ornament from Just Cross Stitch Magazine.. I have alot of finishing to do!

And my most exciting news.. Even though this photo is blurry ..That's my son #91 back there getting ready to punt the football for the San Diego State University! His longest punt this week was 63 yards! He is also the holder for the place kicker so he was on the field alot!It is amazing watching him achieve his dreams.. We watched this game on TV but we will be at the game this Saturday and I can't wait! Hoping to get some good photos this Saturday!
If you would like to see what I am up to everyday join me on Instagram and my Facebook page ! I do post on both almost everyday ..Links to my Facebook page , Instagram and Pinterest are in the sidebar .. Hope to see you there ! :)

Thanks so much for all your visits and sweet comments !

Love seeing all your projects Priscilla. I have another question for you. I try to keep my cloth unwrinkled as possible while stitching...how do you prepare your pieces for framing? ( I use q snaps so that keeps it pretty wrinkle free, then I spot clean if necessary and press them before taking to my framer.) I guess I am OCD but I keep my pieces of cloth hanging on Pants hangers until I am ready to use it so avoid creases. Anyway, I would love to learn more about the finishing aspect of cross stitch as I take mine to a local framer and I have not done many small pieces that can be used in other ways. Thanks!!

What a nice assortment of projects that you are working on? I really like your picket fence idea for displaying a finished piece of cross stitch. Best wishes to your son on his football endeavors.

I love your cross stitch. I wished I could do that, but my eyes are not well enough to do it.

Wow, it has taken me all summer just to complete one Prairie Schooler Santa. How it the world do you manage to stitch so much. I really love that stocking and all of your other projects too.

Hi Priscilla! Do you ever use the tiny buttons that are available to accessorize/accentuate Lizzie Kate samplers?

I was so excited to see that you are working on the "Halloween Rules". I am currently working on the Lizzie Kate "Christmas Rules" and you've inspired me to mount it on a picket fence!

Oh, what a wonderful stitching-filled post, Priscilla! You must be so thrilled each time you see your son on TV--I'll bet not much stitching gets done when his games are on. Your eyes must be glued to the television :) Hope he has a great season this fall!
