July's Stitchy Chalkboard

 Good morning!
Here is July's Hands On Design ..A Year In Chalk ..
I was working on this one yesterday and was halfway finished when I realized it was off by 2 stitches! So I have stitched this one almost twice !!!
Since the theme is Red, White and BBQ it is in the kitchen on the counter with the green vintage scale ..
I finished it off this morning on a piece of sticky needlework board ..and a piece of sheet metal on the back to adhere to the magnet I have glued to the gingham on the frame.

My DIY boxwood wreath, some daisies ,a painted mason jar ..and a little chicken salt and pepper shaker complete the fun vignette..

If you would like to see what I am up to everyday join me on Instagram and my Facebook page ! I do post on both almost everyday ..Links to my Facebook page , Instagram and Pinterest are in the sidebar .. Hope to see you there ! :)

Thanks so much for all your visits and sweet comments !

Ooh, I hate when that happens! It turned out great; I love how you finished it. I've seen these a lot lately, they're very popular. Beautiful tableau :-)

What a lovely picture with the collection of goodies. I like your stitchery, and can't believe how fast you did it.

Cute stitching - bummer about the re-do, but the end result was worth. It makes for a perfect vignette. Jane
