Good morning!
I started this Prairie Schooler Summer piece a couple days ago..loving it so far ! Hope to get it finished soon since I don't have too many summery stitched pieces.
I have been working on my youngest sons Christmas stocking..
This was on May 3rd..
And here it is now. I try to work on it on the weekends, and work on other things through the week,.It will be beautiful once I finish stitching it and doing the backstitch !
The 2004 Santa from Prairie Schooler.. I have 3 left to stitch of the yearly ones, plus this years ...and then there will be no more !!!!
Have all of my stitchy friends heard about Prairie Schoolers retirement ?
I am happy for them but so sad that what we have is it!

Oh I just love that summery stitchery! I am working on Country Cottage's Seaside Cottage right now. Your finishing always inspires me - thank you so much for sharing!
Priscilla,
All so pretty!! Love all the Christmas ones!! I have been in a "Christmas" mood lately, pouring over magazines and some of my books. This year I will have more time to decorate for Christmas since I go part time in a few days and I have bowed out of all my volunteer commitments.......
Hugs,.
Deb
Beautiful stitching! And I love your furbaby model; such big eyes :-) I just discovered Prairie Schooler this year and have been working on the Santa's 12 Days of Christmas charts. I feel the same way, excited for them but sad there won't be anymore. Your almost completed Santa collection is very impressive!
That summery stitch is delightful. I always love to see all the PS Santas you have stitched. I know, I am also going to miss them so much. Each year I look forward to their Halloween designs. I have looked at their site and plan on doing some buying while their things are still available.
Your PS tree is just impressive! Wow! I was surprised to hear about the retirement as well!
You've got a lot of great stitching going on!
Can you believe Prairie Schooler is retiring? Your stitching assistant has the sweetest face. Beautiful stocking--you are making great progress--it will be a treasured heirloom
