Christmas In The Dining Room 2014

Nine days until Christmas ! Wow ! This month is going fast !
In the dining room ..there is one tree ..The ice skate tree..

Like the kitchen , there is lots of Fitz and Floyd in here !

This mini tree full of those mini Hallmark ornaments sits on a stack of BHG plates..
On the buffet... The platter is also from BHG at Walmart.. Fitz and Floyd Santa and Dept 56 Santas.
Love this FItz and Floyd Santa in the wire cloche..topped with a small wreath and berries..
The wire cloche is from Michael's..
On the table is a Christmas quilt topped with DIY burlap wreath ..a thrift store pedestal plate with a glitter house from Homegoods..Santa and Mrs. Claus in the horse drawn carriage is from Dept. 56.. and a special gift from my Connecticut sister in law..Still loving the book page wreaths my daughter and I made last year ..this one has red ornaments in the center..
The gingerbread Santa is also from Dept. 56
The stitched piece on the back of the hutch is a free pattern from Plum Street Samplers framed on a burlap back in a thrift store frame....more Fitz and Floyd and Dept. 56 Santas..
Fitz and Floyd Santas ..ornaments in Estate sale dishes with greenery surrounding them are in the hutch..
A flocked garland sits on top of the hutch with 3 white soup tureens..
You can see the soup tureens better in this photo from the kitchen ..Two years ago this doorway was opened up during our diy remodel ...and what a difference it makes being able to see in to the dining room

Still so happy with the choice of the black dining room set ...Love it with the grey walls !

Priscilla,
Once again, I am speechless at your decorating talents!!

BEAUTIFUL and so charming. I could probably just sit and look around and enjoy this room for hours!!

LOVE the black Dining Room furniture. Black anchors a room. I once saw a decorating show that said a little bit of black in each room with anchor the room...

Hugs,
Deb

I love how you are able to mix inexpensive things from Walmart with higher end bits and have everything come together so nicely... You are a very talented decorator!

Beautiful dining room! And I am seriously loving the grey color on the walls and your tree of course. It stunning!

What color grey is that, I think it looks like what I just painted my living room....such a light and bright grey.

Happy Holidays!
