Winter In The Foyer

Good Morning ! It's another frigid day here in the Chicago suburbs.. No school again for the youngest ! I am sharing our foyer decorated for Winter ..On New Years Eve day my husband came home from Sam's Club with this green distressed cabinet ..I think it looks fabulous in the foyer !
I left up my coffee filter wreath and the little glitter house vignette ..
I used a vintage scale topped with a vintage silver pedestal bowl and another glitter house ..I hung a cross stitch ornament from the bowl..
I filled the vintage tool box with greenery from the tree :) snowflakes , a pair of childrens ice skates and a burlap bow and cardinal.

I put the little glitter house vignette on this small sled..

I wasn't sure about the green color , at first but now I really like it !
By the front door , I have a chalkboard , and some little skate ornaments and another cross stitch snowman piece..
 lanterns, and glittery birdhouses..
I am keeping the burlap and flocked greenery garland up until at least the end of January and also the owl tree..
I would love for you to follow me on Instagram, Facebook and Pinterest ..all the links are in the sidebar !
Thanks so much for stopping by ! I love your visits and nice comments !

Hi Priscilla, I love your Wintry vignettes! The glitter houses are so pretty and both the scale and sleigh vignette are wonderful! I left all of my jars filled with white and my glitter houses out in the living room also. I just scored another unique vintage scale. LOVE! Thanks for sharing with SYC.
hugs,
Jann

Love the chest and it looks great in the room. Great winter theme but still very warm and cozy.

So very cute! The chalkboard snow day vignette is adroable- love the skates. I would fall over if my husband brought a piece of furniture home on his own! It's really a cute piece and I love the sled on top. We had several school closings last week but we're finally getting back to normal here in northern Michigan.

Hi Priscilla,
I saw your wreath at the CSI Challenge and wanted to pop over. The wreath is lovely as is your entire vignette! Your foyer looks very warm and inviting - perfect for this cold weather we have all been having.
Have a Great Day,
Suzanne

I'm a new reader to your blog. I love your style. I'm going to be doing a couple of rooms (including painting and staining furniture) and I've seen some great inspiration on your blog. Thanks for sharing.
