Truckin’ Along .. July

Good morning!

Our last new chart for May is the July Truckin Along!
These will be available the first week of May...

Lots of red white and blue .. daisies .. bunting and banners along with Calvin on the hood of the truck, and flowers loaded in the back ! 

  The chart includes both designs , for the topper and truck section ..I mounted both stitched pieces on sticky board .. for the truck I used 2 more sticky boards under the stitching , one in blue dot fabric  and the other red buffalo check fabric. The topper just has one more sticky board behind in the buffalo check fabric .. I added a bow from 2 different ribbons and a daisy on top. I used magnets and washers to easily change out the pieces monthly! 

All finishing fabrics and sticky board were found at Fat Quarter Shop.

A Sip Of The Seasons .. Sam and Liberty

Good morning!
The second new chart we will have for next month is The Sip Of The Seasons .. Sam and Liberty!
These charts will be out the first week of May... If you have a local or online shop you love ask them to carry our charts!
And we hope you  save room in your Maynia plans for Sam and Liberty! :)

Uncle Sam with his striped pants and chicken nesting hat  along with  his baby eagle Liberty are the stars of this chart! To finish this piece I mounted the stitching on sticky board with a layer of batting underneath  . I also mounted red ticking stripe fabric on sticky board (which became the back of the frame ) and blue check fabric on sticky board .I used the metal pieces in the back of the frame to hold the red stripe fabric sticky board in and then glued the other 2 pieces on top . This frame fits an 8 x 10 photo ..so any  frame for an 8 x 10 will work ..I made a bow from red checks and used 2 fabric stars from Hobby Lobby for decoration

Long May She Wave !

 Happy Sunday!
This is Long May She Wave .. a new release that will be available the first week of May!
We  Hope you save room in your Stitchmaynia plans for Long May She Wave!

You will love this design for your home for all the patriotic holidays! This is the first "big" chart Chelsea and I have done and it definitely won't be the last ! This one was drawn for the mantel chalkboard and it looks amazing in cross stitch! Just look at that flag!

I mounted the stitching on sticky board .. and also mounted the pretty red fabric on sticky board ..I glued the 2 pieces together and glued to the wood  house piece. I made the bow with 3 different ribbons and added a red check fabric star . I just stuck the 2 little flags into the bow ..Floss colors and size of the stitching are listed below..

What’s In My Cup? “Cream”

Good morning!
It's time for some Cream in your cup!
This is #4 in our Farmhouse ..What's in your Cup series!

of course a cow had to join the Pig, goat and rooster and she is just the sweetest brown cow with her flowers in her hair ...two babies and a milk bucket !
 To finish her I used this enamel piece from Tractor Supply ..Chelsea found these around Christmas time and it does have a Christmas saying on it .I used magnets to attach the stitched  piece to the enamel . I mounted the stitching on sticky board with batting underneath ..and also added black check fabric to another sticky board . Glued the two pieces together and then added 2 magnets to the back . I added 2 ribbons for the bows and a sunflower .. Mine is stitched on black 28 count evenweave with all Classic Colorworks floss

Chalkfull “Bloom”

Good morning!
This is Chalkfull ..Bloom the 6th in the series of 7 of my chalkboard to cross stitch collaboration with Hands On Design . What's better than a Mason Jar full of daisies ?

When floss colors were being picked .. I said how about using the red for the jar ? I love the way it turned out! I used the same enamel stand to finish it that I used for all the others. This stand is still available at Hobby Lobby . I use magnets to attach so they are easily changed out . I mounted my stitching on sticky board and also mounted big buffalo checks on sticky board . I glued those two pieces together and added a red check bow with a daisy in the center topped by a covered button of ticking stripe fabric .

For the small piece I used the enamel bucket from Hobby Lobby . I mounted it in an oval shape with 2 layers of batting underneath .. A row of Lori Holt vintage trim in Cloud and gathered torn red check fabric trim the edges . I made a bow of 2 kinds of ribbon to attach to the handle with a daisy and covered button on top . I also added another bow and daisy to the bottom side of the stitching attaching it to the ruffle .

What’s in my cup .. Wake Up!

Good morning! Time to "Wake Up" and see What's in My Cup!

A rooster has joined the goat and pig !
 I finished him on the mason jar board from April at Homestead Needleworke ..I attached plaid fabric to sticky board and also mounted the stitching on sticky board with batting underneath .. a burlap ribbon ..twine flower with a plaid covered button and a wooden chicken cutout tops it all off ..

He is stitched on 28 count black evenweave with Classic Colorworks floss ..

So it is time to Wake Up and get to stitching! :)

Peep 2

Good morning!
This is Peep one of our charts available in our Etsy shop , and this is stitched by one of our You Tube viewers Barbara and finished by me .. She won the finishing in one of our giveaways!

One of our other sweet viewers sent us the tin for the finish :)

I mounted the piece on sticky board with batting underneath ..and then glued it to another piece of sticky board that I had added black gingham fabric to .. both pieces eere then glued to the canister ..

For the bow I used 2 ribbons and a little nest that I placed moss in and a tiny fuzzy peep ..Thanks so much Barbara for letting me finish your project!
