Good morning!
Last Friday we took off for San Francisco ..I stitched my way there on this Judith Kirby Halloween Victorian .. I finished the first part , I am stitching the 2nd chart with it as one piece. I saw after I took this photo that I missed the backstitch on top of the house :) I am stitching it on a light blueish grey 28 count Monaco that I tea/coffee dyed ..I have had these charts for so long and this one didn't take very long to stitch up! I don;t think I am doing the border, I will wait and see after I finish the second part.
On Saturday we went to see our #91 play his second game this year as the punter for San Diego State University..They played in Berkley at Cal State.
They started out winning their game but then lost ( by alot) ..But it was great to see him and see him play ..I can't even tell you how exciting it is to see your son play college football!!Looking forward to next weekend when we are traveling to Penn State to watch another game !
Sunday we went to San Francisco ..we stayed in Oakland at the hotel the team stayed at . We ended up taking the subway to both the game in Berkley and San Francisco .. That was a little interesting :) But it did work out great! We went to Fisherman's Wharf.. The Ferry Market, Ghiradeli Square..We walked and walked and walked some more !
This was our view at lunch .. He /she was sunbathing on the dock ..
Alcatraz in the distance..We then went back to the hotel and got our rental car and drove over the Golden Gate Bridge.. It was so foggy ..but very pretty!
Our plane left for home at 5am Monday so I didn't stitch very much.. but I started on this Prairie Schooler Halloween ..
If you would like to see what I am up to everyday join me on Instagram and my Facebook page ! I do post on both almost everyday ..Links to my Facebook page , Instagram and Pinterest are in the sidebar .. Hope to see you there ! :)
Thanks so much for all your visits and sweet comments !

San Francisco is great. Hubby and I have visited there when we visit our son at Stanford University. Congrats on the son playing college football. Sorry for the lost. You are quite the traveler as you are going to Penn State next week. Happy stitching.
Sounds/Looks like you had a great time. I lived in the Bay Area, about 25 minutes south of San FraN AND MISS IT EVERY DAY!! but not the price of housing LOL
Have a great Sunday!!
What a darling cross stitch piece! I had never heard of this designer but did find some of her charts on Ebay. San Francisco is such a fun place to visit. How nice that you can travel to see your son's games - those are memorable times for sure. As always, love and anticipate your posts.
I have and love those Judith Kirby designs--yours turned out just beautiful. Can't wait to see the addition of the second house! That always looks so nice!
I love your cross stitching and what a fun weekend. I love San Francisco. We went on vacation there this summer and we had a great time. I love Fishermans Warf!
TFS and have a wonderful start to the week.

How I miss San Francisco!!! Thank you for sharing these beautiful pictures. So glad you spent time with your son!!!
How fun for you to be able to see your son playing college ball! Loved your pictures of San Francisco. Thanks for sharing!
I'll bet you'll be taking lots of trips this fall to watch your son play, Priscilla--how exciting! I enjoyed your photos of SF having never been there myself. And you're working on a couple of darling pieces. I did the first part of the Kirby design and it's one of my favorites for Halloween decorating :)
Hope the team has better luck at Penn State!
So beautiful! San Francisco is on our list to visit in the next few years!
How exciting to see your son play football for his College team! Love your halloween cross stitch... have fun with your next project! Christine x
