Summer Mantel

 Good morning!
I redid our family room mantel yesterday with a couple things my daughter found for me at Homegoods( she is the best !).. Look at this fabulous chicken canvas and the Fitz and Floyd rooster ! I love Fitz and Floyd but this is my first rooster !
I used some vintage blue mason jars..a red lantern  ..an estate sale metal frame that had a paint by number in it ..another chicken and a vase of zinnias from the garden...Simple and summery ..

You might remember I had a love/hate relationship with these bookshelves from this post .. But I am still loving them !
 Even Reagan approves :)

She also got me this little chicken creamer .. Adorable ! It went straight into the galvanized tiered tray in the kitchen ..
If you would like to see what I am up to everyday join me on Instagram and my Facebook page ! I do post on both almost everyday ..Links to my Facebook page , Instagram and Pinterest are in the sidebar .. Hope to see you there ! :)

Thanks so much for all your visits and sweet comments !

Love Fitz & Floyd. I got my oldest daughter some pieces years ago. Your decorating looks great. I am all about country decorating too. There is something inviting and warm when you walk into a home decorated like that.

I will forever miss living within shopping distance of a Home Goods store! I fell in love with their store when we lived in Columbia, Maryland, and a new store was opened there in the early 2000's. I have a few roosters I purchased there shortly after they opened for business and have taken and displayed them in my kitchen each time we have moved. So glad I bought them when I had the opportunity because now they seem to be a bit harder to find in the stores.... at least in our area. Love that picture your daughter purchased for you! It's very eye catching. xo
