Spring Table Runner

 Good morning !
Last week I made a new spring table runner for the table and finally got around to sewing on the burlap ruffles yesterday ..
I used osnaburg fabric for the base .. and painted the words and flowers on with acrylic paint. I also used fabric paint bottles..For outlining and doodling :)
I cut bunny and flower shapes from stiff burlap ( that came from Michael's) and glued them on..
I used a roll of burlap ribbon for the ruffles ..I just gathered it by hand with a big needle and sewed it with the machine to the runner..
The chalk paint painted hutch is one of my favorite places to decorate ..
The diy ceiling medallion wreath with the book page rose hangs from a peg on the shelf

I will be back tomorrow with the rest of the spring kitchen ..
If you would like to see what I am up to everyday join me on Instagram and my Facebook page ! I do post on both almost everyday ..Links to my Facebook page , Instagram and Pinterest are in the sidebar .. Hope to see you there ! :)
Thanks so much for all your visits and sweet comments !

Your newest table runner is adorable! Love the bunnies and the cute ruffle at the ends.

Was it difficult to paint your hutch, Priscilla? Do you have to sand off the old finish first--and what paint do you recommend. I have an old wall unit that was in my middle son's bedroom that I would like to do something with. Thanks for any advice you can offer :)

Enjoy your weekend--it's rainy and gray here...

Priscilla, your runner is so pretty and fun! That's a great idea to glue burlap bunnies to match the ruffle. So cute! Happy hoppy! :-)

What an awesome table runner. You are very creative, I love your vision. It amazes me how people see things in their mind and then just create them.
Beautiful job on the table runner. It is gorgeous!
