June's Stitchy Chalkboard

 Good morning !
It's June 1st and my June Stitched chalkboard from A Year In Chalk ( Hands On Design) is finished! Don't you just love it ?

I did change the brownish color to blue and used Crescent Colors Deep Blue Sea that I had on hand. ..I wanted it to be able to fit in with all the patriotic decorations that I have out now.

I always get asked where I store all my decorations..and this green chest holds all my stitched Christmas stockings , stitched Christmas ornaments, and all the monthly cottages from Country Cottage Needleworks, the monthly wordplays from With Thy Needle and thread , and now all the year in chalk monthly pieces.
The pedestal frame is from Michael's .. I added a gingham piece to the back with a magnet on it and use a small piece of sheet metal on the back of the stitching to change it out..Can't wait to get next months and start stitching it !
If you would like to see what I am up to everyday join me on Instagram and my Facebook page ! I do post on both almost everyday ..Links to my Facebook page , Instagram and Pinterest are in the sidebar .. Hope to see you there ! :)

Thanks so much for all your visits and sweet comments !

Linking to these fabulous parties !

Love the red, white and blue and all things Americana. I have painted white jars and will find a way to use them for July.

Cute as ever! So sheet metal? Do you leave it on the piece or is it removable and you tuck it on each monthly? Going on a hunt for a pedestal frame today!! Thanks for sharing!
