July Stitching

Hope you all had a great holiday weekend ! I have been doing lots of yard work..and finally got around to mounting the July cottage ! I stitched these 3 pieces last year and just finished them this year ..
I used the off white painted mason jars again .. love these white chickens ..One came from Home Goods , the other from Hobby Lobby.
Both of these are mounted with magnets and sheet metal to be changed out every month ..

Love how this Prairie Schooler July turned out... I got the frame at Hobby Lobby and mounted fabric to a board , then mounted the stitching to another board. ..
Allk of these pieces are in the family room. I will be sad to put them away ..I just love patriotic stitching!

There is another chicken over in this vignette too:) I got the scale at a church rummage sale ..$5.00 for it and 2 vintage flour sifters..

Thanks so much for stopping by ! I appreciate all your visits and nice comments !

Such great patriotic displays, Priscilla! I'm just finishing up the PS July sampler, too--really loved this one. I was just thinking how I'll be sad to put away all the red, white, and blue at the end of the month, too... It really adds such a nice cheery note to a room, doesn't it?

Have a great weekend!

Don't you just love painted ball jars. I intent to get a few more. The ones I painted sold right away. I love making chalkboards out of trays and picture frames too! The vignette is adorable.

What a clever way to frame the PS July. I never thought of mounting a design on fabric. I love the way it looks. I put my patriotic things up for Memorial Day and left them up through the 4th. I'm still sad to be taking them down.
