In the garden.. August 8,2016

Good morning!
I hope you all had great weekends!
Time for another walk through the garden ..
My hydrangeas are still blooming and I love that there are so many different colors on each plant!
Coneflowers are still looking good even though it has been so hot and dry here. We did have rain last week finally!
The Rose of Sharon is huge!
I am loving this pot of zinnias and snapdragons..

The top sunflower has an identity crisis going on .. its got just a few striped petals..
Limelight hydrangea, annabelle hydranges and lots of coneflowers and zinnias!
The chipmunk hunter..
Vanilla /Strawberry hydrangeas starting to get a little strawberried.. aren't they just the prettiest!
the prettiest zinnia in the patch..
The mailbox garden..
That is one stalk of sunflowers.. so many blooms!
The first roasted tomato sauce from the garden ..
I had to move the vintage wheelbarrow out from behind the zinnias because they got too tall!

Always love to pick the zinnias

What a lot of beautiful colour you've brought into your garden. It is just gorgeous! I love the Strawberry and Vanilla hydrangea. I'd never heard of it but will now look for one. It is so pretty!

Gorgeous photos. I have some of those peppermint Zinnias, but they have been stilted by the heat. Great shots of all your flowers. I have given up on hydrangeas. I have five plants and have had maybe 10 blooms in the last 8 years. They seem to get nipped every year by our severe winter weather. Wonderful post, thanks, Sandi
