In the garden July 24, 2016

Hello!
Since I didn't do a garden post last week ..this one has alot of photos from the past 2 weeks!
The hydrangeas have been so pretty .. but last night we had hard rains and all the Annabelle hydrangeas in the front look beaten up! I hope they spring back..
I am not a big day lilly fan but these are pretty..

The zinnias are doing well.. but the flowers and plants are not as big as past years.. wonder if it's been our total lack of rain , cooler spring or that I planted them a little later..

The coneflowers are doing great and line our back sidewalk ..along with lots of zinnias..

Lots of zinnias! Just how I like them!

Love these special colored sunflowers..
Love anything galvanized or rusty or old in the garden!
The rose of Sharon is starting to bloom..This will be its last year in this spot.. it is just too hard to keep it small enough .So I will dig it out after it is finished blooming..
Coneflowers ..russian sage and zinnias..
I planted zinnias seeds and a few snapdragons in this pot and they just started blooming .. such pretty colors!
Sunrise and pink geraniums!
My first batch of beans from the garden .. need to go out and pick some more when I am finisahed with this post! Can't wait for the tomatoes to really start!
Love this fancy orangey pink coneflower ..and the black eyed susans are starting to bloom.

If you would like to see what I am up to everyday join me on Instagram and my Facebook page ! I do post on both almost everyday ..Links to my Facebook page , Instagram and Pinterest are in the sidebar .. Hope to see you there ! :)

The colour in your garden is wonderful! Zinnias are just the greatest, aren't they? I didn't plant any this year. I went for nasturtiums - big mistake! They don't do well on our dry island.

Wow, I thought I had colorful Zinnias but yours are amazing. It has been a wierd season. My Coneflowers are non-existant, I think the three frosts in late May here did them in, and my Black-eyed Susan's are half of what they usually are. Veggies are late, but coming on strong now. We just had tons of rain, and more on the way so it will probably explode this week. Thanks so much for sharing your gorgeous garden, Sandi

Oh my goodness, your hydrangeas are lovely. I wish mine were as full as yours. I love the walkway lined with coneflowers. Gorgeous! And we, too, are enjoying our yellow and green beans this weekend. Don't you love summer. :) Deb

Your garden is so pretty and colorful! My daylilies looked good this year until the deer at them.

Oh, how beautiful everything is in your garden, Priscilla! Our deer would have a feast with your flowers :) They have chomped off every single one of our hydrangeas--honestly, I am about ready to surrender and not plant any more!

I have so much fun looking at your seasonal 3 tiered tray! Your flowers are beautiful and I don't know how you have time to stitch, garden, and decorate! Thanks for the inspiration!
