She's A Grand Old Flag

Good morning all my crafty friends!
I finished the stitching on Flagmaker last night ( its a free chart from the Notforgotten Farm blog) and couldn't wait to see if it would be the right size for this pedestal frame!

I found this pedestal frame at Hobby Lobby ..It started out as a clock for $29.99 but was 80% off for $6.00 .. I removed the clock parts and added my stitching!

The burlap flower came on the clock ..I ripped it off and glued it back on and added a coordinating covered button.
Isn't she cute ? I did backstitch thread through the needle off of the spool ..That was the only change I made. It is stitched on 28 count tea/coffee dyed evenweave...
I used 2 magnets on the frame and sheet metal on the back of the stitching so I will be able to use the frame for other stitched pieces..
If you would like to see what I am up to everyday join me on Instagram and my Facebook page ! I do post on both almost everyday ..Links to my Facebook page , Instagram and Pinterest are in the sidebar .. Hope to see you there ! :)

Thanks so much for all your visits and sweet comments !

So cute!! I love to see all the completed projects you do. I just started back into cross stitch this year. Anyone have some good suggestions for magnifiers I can use?...my eyes have changed over the years and 28 count is a killer for me to see now!! thanks. --Anne

Cute and clever way to spotlight your stitching. Just discovered your blog through Pinterest. I'd like to add some of your ideas to my Pinterest board, but can't find a pin button. The one at the bottom only opens the lead photo. Am I missing your pin button?
Thanks! Love your patriotic tiered tray styled for the 4th.
