One last Stitchy Finish for 2015

 Happy New Years Eve!
I finished stitching this Lizzie Kate Jingles last week.. and yesterday went to Home Depot and got some boards cut to finish it ..
I had 2 boards cut one a 1/2 inch bigger on each side so I could have a coordinating fabric on the back .. I had previously stitched Lizzie Kate's Tingles and made this fence board to display it on .. I used magnets and sheet metal so I could switch it out for the Christmas version ..
I also got another board cut for the Halloween one that I used a Halloween fabric on the back .. I will show you that when I decorate for Halloween in October!
Magnets on the fence pickets and sheet metal on the back of the stitching

I did alot of the stitching on this on those airplane trips to see one of my boys play football..So everytime I look at this piece I will be thinking about the great season his team had!

I added a bow of 2 different Christmas ribbons and a flocked pick ..
Last year at this time my son committed to play for San Diego State University ..we were so excited for him and this year turned out to be an amazing one!
They lost 3 games early in the season but won every game after that ..
They won the Mountain West Championship  against Air Force and then went on to win the Hawaii bowl on Christmas Eve!

Hope 2015 was great for you all and 2016 is even better! I appreciate all of you that read my blog ..leave me comments ..like my Facebook and Instagram pages etc.. I am very lucky to have all of you!

Do you also mount the stitched pieces onto metal? Are the fabrics glued to the metal sheets? Genius idea and has inspired me to start sewing again in 2016, resolution number 1
